The light, clear and articulate tones from this beautiful Golden Era Gibson flat top make it one of those special guitars that you have a hard time wanting to put down. Surprisingly bright and punchy draws sonic similarities with some of the nice old Martin OM guitars we've seen, but with a beautiful vintage two tone sunburst and a price tag that puts this model well within reach of players and collectors alike.
Almost 70 years ageing of the spruce top and Honduran Mahogany back & sides has beautifully enriched the tone of this 1954 Gibson LG-2. Pronounced midrange from the smaller body do well to project fingerstyle and blues picking. Of course, you can play whatever music you want on your LG-2 - it’s a hand-built golden era Gibson, so it's going to sound pretty special in almost any context.
