this guitar is probably my favorite sounding guitar that you guys have ever had on this show. Yes even in front of all the amazing strats, teles, Les Pauls, etc. it just is purely amazing. We are going to miss you Mark and I have to say that position should never go to anyone else but you. sending love and best wishes to your fam.

Flat top Friday is the best day of the week! Gotta say Mark, you're going out in style; the last couple of months the Gibsons on Flat Top Fridays you've shown have been the best sounding ones you've had on GOTD. This one sounds beautiful.
I know this last week is going to be tough for you emotionally Mark. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears there. Thanks for this stellar episode and the primer on Gibson acoustics. I have a 1958 LG-O, the first year they made them and it has become a part of me. You can't completely replicate stuff that is 60 years old. This LG-2 would be the perfect songwriting guitar. Also, beautiful rendition of one of my favorite Tom Petty songs "Wildflower." Just a beautiful tune written by a great human being. We all miss him. We will miss you as well. One more week. I smell a Junior coming on Tele Tuesday.....😁
