Enjoying today after 2 years divorced. "her hand was in my pocket and her foot was on my neck"...I'm free! Beautiful reminder of the truth of that 12 years of my life.
I'm a Dylan nut actually seen you open for him in 89 at Jones Beach what a treat I went to see Bob not knowing my all time favourite singer besides Bob was on the show. Anyway I have seen a picture of Dylan playing a CF100 he must have a collection like yours Steve cause he's played some guitars over the years and kept a lot of them.
The first big restoration I did (15 yrs ago, now) was on a late 40’s LG-2. Neck reset and refret - left all the beautiful natural relicing alone - turned out beautiful! The repairs cost aprox 1/2 the post restoration value, but the owner, an Englishman, was thrilled! It was his first guitar, bought used in London in the 1960’s.
I love this series and I don't even own a guitar. Having Steve sing to us each week is sooo cool! He's been keeping time with that left leg since at least 'Heartworn Highways'! I love that, too. ☺
I love Steve Earle, I love the LG-2, I love the CF-100 and I love the song, so I think it's safe to say I love the fact that I just found and saw this video. A video I love! ❤️
Thanks Steve, love old Gibsons....just bought a '50 CF-100 from a descendent of Emmett W. Lundy - great granddaughter who's mom was the first owner in 1949...

Love these videos and share a love for a fine, old Gibbo.
Think this was my favorite episode yet
I'm not a guitar guy but I enjoy listening to your discriptions of these guitars. Thank you and God bless you.

That’s a great song. Fine performance.

Thank you for all of this. Great.
Love it when you leave the sound on lol
Steve, I'm glad to see you're re-embracing Gibsons again. I always loved you on a Gibson.
[The boogers add to the magic, Maestro. Thanks for the music!]
Great stuff. Thanks Steve.
