Always got my eye out for new and better gear for both playing and recording. I've got a Patreon account if you're feeling generous and care to drop a few bucks in the new gear fund that would be great. Or not, I'm good either way. / kellydeanallen Видеоклипы
What drew me to subscribing to your channel, besides the talent, was the apparent joy you take in your playing. Some guys have all the talent, but don't seem to truly love playing and talking about playing and you've got that in spades, maybe because you're not solely reliant on playing for a career. Started following on Reddit and subscribed here. Keep plugging away and rock on!!
Thanks Michael! I really do love it. Never thought that I'd see the day again that I would, but I'm thankful. I simply can't get out of my guitar corner. When I do, to watch a movie or something, I feel guilty, haha.
I love listening to you play. There were a couple of songs that I play too. One thing I admire about your playing is your comfortableness with different styles of music. You have helped my playing and I just listen without a guitar in my hands sometimes. Thanks.
So good! Your enthusiasm shines through
Always a treat to be notified that i have a new video by kelly....by far my FAVORITE guitar page and i subscribe to a couple of hundred pages... and as always the great commentary we all look forward too...thks kelly!
Just subscribed. You’re an amazing guitarist and an inspiration for me. I might try to even learn some of these riffs! Keep up the great work.
In my 2-ish years watching you, perhaps my favorite part is the way you pronounce git-TARRRR in your canadian accent
It's funny, I don't really notice the east coast accent except when he says "guitar" :)
Great list. A few I hadn't heard before too. Gonna have to give some a go.
Fun video! I know you don’t play much acoustic but I would enjoy seeing you make a list for fun acoustic guitar songs.
Great video man. I love learning new riffs and I'm going to try a few of those. I like the fact that you didn't stay straight with big hits also. Threw in some album songs.
great playing as always bud
Awesome chops bro! Nice guitar as well, thanks for the video... Love the riffs 🎸🎸👍
Thanks man! That guitar is a modded Donner from Amazon. Not much Donner left on it except the neck and body. Love that guitar.
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar O very cool! I just wish you didn't stop during I'm the one... You were nailing it and then it stopped! Lol.
Kelly thanks again for a half hour of pure enjoyment. One of the reasons I had stopped playing I think was the end of awesome riffs that grabbed your attention. In 2014 A friend played Twilight of the Thunder god by Amon Amarth and this is what got me to start playing after many years. I'm not a death metal guy, but the riffs are awesome. I even now have a 7 string.
One of the most beautiful guitars I have seen ☆ Nice guitar and great riffs 🤟🏼🎸
Thanks! I made it myself.
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar what colour is it. At the start it looked like a satin navy. When you started playing it looked charcoal satin......
Gotta say, just discovered your channel. Great video. I saw the thumbnail and thought it was Mr Bonamassa at first.
@@Racelinekarting it's gunmetal grey.
I was impress of how good is they sound !!!!
All killers, no fillers! Great playing as always Kelly dean! ! My favorite? IM THE ONE! EVH !!! Holy smokes!🔥I gotta learn how to play that ! Plus. Cinnamon girl. Voodoo child, pride and joy, Joe Walsh, AC/DC - U ROCK Kelly 🎸Thank you! 👍👍
Thanks mate! You're down the rabbit hole of my videos I see, haha.
A tight groove with bounce and gallup,, hell yes!
Another truck load of riffs. Awesome
KDA... I agree 100%...when a song is bouncy and percussive and both hands just sync up to the rhythm and the next thing you know it just carries you away....ahh, moments to live for...rock on my brother!!!!!
MOTORHEAD anytime anyplace, big Like here!!
wow super nice video my friend am impressed !! keep rocking you are very talented !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it🇫🇷😌🍒
Great list and we'll played.
Thanks Christopher!
Aerosmiith's cover of "Train" was Steve Hunter playing the intro and first solo and Dick Wagner playing the second part. Bad ass song. I thought it was Joe Perry forever.
WOW....talk about saving the best for last!!!!
Yeah, that's a good one Larry!
That's it, any questions? So go ahead and subscribe, thumbs up, notifications on, and let's get Kelly up YT's algorithmic ladder, he certainly deserves it and we certainly need him to.
Thanks Pedro! The algorithm hates me, haha. I actually have one video from about six months ago that I think hit the algorithm two weeks ago. Went from 2000 views to 35,000 in two weeks. But that's only one video. I have about 200. We'll keep slugging away at it.
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar Keep putting out content like this and they will come!
Totally agree with you on Riff Raff, I don't think I could choose just one AC/DC riff but that is right up there for sure.
Also I would have Joker And The Thief by Wolfmother, that riff is so simple yet gets me going every single time I play it.
Did someone say fun? !!! IM IN !!!!
great vid bud !!
Man you made that donner guitar look amazing 👏 . If you mod the donner DLP (les Paul style one) you should make a video about how to do it. Great video.
Yeah, lots of work put into it, but I'm happy with her. She's a sweet guitar.
Well one can dream I suppose but never in a million years of practice would I get anywhere near as good as this. Brilliant and thanks for showing mere mortals what it's like to be a God.
Yes you will, you gotta put max effort in that’s all, never give up John 👍🤘👍
Very solid list! If I were to add one it would probably be either 'A Gentleman's Coup' by Rise Against or 'Still of the Night' by Whitesnake. Both very fun riffs.
Great list - would throw Johnny B Goode in for honorable mention too. My buddies and I would play the hell out of that song. Definitely one of those the harder you bang it the better it sounds type grooves. The Black Keys have some great songs for this list too.
New subscriber and I am loving your channel, this is the music of my youth. I am wondering how you get your backing tracks. I just want to be a lonely rocker ing my studio. Thank you
Rock on
I pretty much only play rhythm, and I'd recommend any song by Testament. Really fun and challenging. Would specifically recommend Into the Pit and Souls of Black
Hell yea...Alex Skolnick is a monster!!!
Aerosmith Train Kept a rolling of course!!!
When you walk away from it then go back the way you did ....just for the Love of it (insert thanks to his daughter here ) it just shows .
Would you ever consider doing a virtual guitar class with me? We could obviously negotiate a price
Yes. I would actually. I'm already teaching one guy from California every Sunday night. Trying to get a feel for it before opening things up to doing it more often. My email is in my about profile. Drop me an email.
How about some Tom Verlaine and Richard LLoyd?
Getting any special guests on the channel soon ?
Kelly did you ever play at the Doctors Hotel in Belleville back in the day??
Dang that place was kicking loud ass every weekend in the 80's
🤟🤟🤪🤪🤟
Not ringing a bell, but possibly. Can't remember the names of all the clubs all over Ontario, except some of the big ones in Toronto. Gasworks, Rock and Roll heaven etc
@@KellyDeanAllenGuitar 10-4 thx !!
Yeah I am always playing by myself, that happens when you get married 😂
lol you play cinnamon girl better than Neil.
I think Malcolm was a groove machine.
Skip ahead to the 48 minute mark to skip through the talking
Tough crowd. What can I say.... I'm chatty.
