U r right on the money. I did this to my chevy s10 about 9 years ago. It failed again so im on round two. Thanks for the reminder how to do it. Its actually quite easy.
Dang I did this and my abs light went off but not my check brake light. Could it be from a solder that didn’t take? I checked brake fluid levels and they are fine. The check brake light came on the same time my abs did.
Check if there is any connections on ebrake might be loose or something like that also some cars have brake sensor switch on brake pedal . And also check all the wires and ground wires so they are not rusty “clean then if they are “. Let me know if you end up fixing it .
I did mine two yrs ago. I have 2002 Astrovan. Still good no abs and brake lights on dashboard. Thanks for the video

You really need to watch some videos on soldering. You don't just dab on more solder. That's going to fail again.

So is there 2 sensors for the chevy astro I’m trying to fix it because the “BRAKE” light is on and I’ve tried to turn it off but I couldn’t

I believe it did work for me . The van is not mine. It’s worth a try.
