I couldn't get down with their cover of Zombie solely because they released it like RIGHT after Dolores' death. Days. It just felt too soon, even knowing the backstory. BUT I give it credit that it's a decent cover.
They were right to release it, IMO. They were due to actually do that cover with Dolores, so I thought it was appropriate.

I'd be curious to hear Derrick's take on In the Court of the Dragon by Trivium. Honestly probably my favorite album from them since Shogun (which was what, 16 years ago?). I've never heard of these guys before, but if this is the energy they bring I might have to check 'em out. Reminds me of mid-2000s metal/hard rock.
I cannot bring myself to enjoy that album, seems like they just got comfortable with their SATS sound and just kept doing copy cat versions of that.
Nothing ever topped Ascendancy for me.
