A Modern FB is useless unless he can run routes like a TE and can't be covered by LBs. Or else, all he does is block one LB; and if he wasn't on the field that LB wouldn't be on field either.
Yeah; the MVP QB is kind of cursed. The guy who passed for the most was in more shootouts due to not having championship caliber defense. I used to ding Brady for not being #1 every year he won a ring; but thats because why should he? run it kill clock no need to score when up by 20.
