It’s crazy to know that the Giants last 3 Super Bowl victories (1990, 2007 and 2011) were all highlighted by multiple revenge victories in the playoffs against teams that beat them in the regular season.
In 1990 they lost to the 49ers and Bills in December only to beat both of them a month later in the playoffs in consecutive weeks (NFC championship and Super Bowl).
In 2007 the Cowboys SWEPT the Giants while both the Packers and Patriots gave them losses in New York. They eliminated ALL 3 of them in the playoffs that same year!
Then in 2011 they lost to Green Bay and San Francisco in the regular season only to boot BOTH of them out of the playoffs, both on the road!! The Giants definitely have a history of ULTIMATE revenge!

I was 14 years old at the time. As a Giants fan, I can remember me and my mother holding our breaths when Tom Brady throw a hail mary. To be fair, he threw so far and so good, and then all of the sudden the ball dropped to the ground, the game was over and next thing we know……just relief and happiness.😁🏈

Further left there was a LB sitting underneath the throw 😉 If he tries to float it over there were a corner to the left (back turned though), the LB underneath and a safety over the top. Probably a makeable throw but situationally you don’t want to force anything that could result in a pick when up by just 2. Branch could have slowed down in the soft zone, like the commentators pointed out. Very similar coverage, but trying to force it over a LB to Branch (without floating it too much] can be seen at 2:02:50
There was two LBs sitting on Welker only loosening up when one LB drifted to the previously mentioned spot. Also, two rushers where free when Brady finally let it go.
Sorry for the late reply, was just here for some punishment as a big Brady fan, and decided to have an extra look at that pass 😉

At the time the Pats went up 17-9, Brady was 20/23, 201 YDS, 2TDs (132.07 rating). From that point on he went 7/18, 75 YDS, 1 INT (28.7 rating).

1:49:48 is easily, the best and most clutch pass in football history. Of course, it had to be the most clutch QB in NFL history to throw it. Wow, what a game this was!!!

My mother went to college with Jason Pierre-Paul. He was awesome at USF too & is one of my all time favorite pass rushers.

If not for Eli & Peyton, TB12 could have as many as 11 Super Bowl rings. In the highest-stakes-possible games vs each, Brady was a combined 1-5. (0-2 vs Eli in Super Bowls; 1-3 vs Peyton in AFC Championship Games)

So many times you’ll see teams start to panic in the Super Bowl whenever New England get a lead or make it a close game. Almost like they’re intimidated. I’m a Steelers fan and my team were the same way in big regular season or playoff games against the Patriots. For whatever reason, the Giants just weren’t gonna be denied in either Super Bowl. Just went out and played their game and Eli was cool as a cucumber
