Thank God I didn't see it. In 30 years of working on heavy trucks I've never seen such destruction of wheel disks as in the first frames of this video. It's obvious to a donkey that metal fatigue makes it impossible to reuse parts. Only in a primitive country where there are a lot of people and they are not pitied can such technologies be allowed.
yes , about 130 Years ago, we build things like that in our country.... but no worry, Germany and his Gouverment is working hard to get back to those standards here.....
How do they restore the original geometry of that gear. Forget about the so called welding job, is weird, who does weld gears or ball bearings, beats me.
@@leonidkrinsky3365 Think about repairing ball bearings with welding, is beyond stupid is dangerous. Would you fly an airplane with repaired bearings? Is so wrong, it takes hours to explain why, but yes it happens.
When you are a metal worker with absolutely no knowledge of metallurgy, you're a dangerous person. You just increased the chances of injury or death to an unsuspecting customer. Metal fatigue is not a theory, it is a fact. Once a piece has exhibited metal fatigue, you dispose of it. You don't rework it to put it back into service. Without education and competent instruction, these workers are doomed to live their lives in a 3rd World country.
It's not that bad, it's a new single piece stamped inner section, welded to an old rim. The only potential failure point could be along the weld line which is not that likely as it's welded inside and outside. A good weld should be stronger than the steel it's welded to.
Have you ever seen anything like this in your country? Let us know in the comments! 🙂

Glad to see them taking all the necessary safety precautions and doing intense quality control.

Such skill and yet totally anachronistic to 21st century western society. Beautiful glimpse into how this work was done before computers.
Excellent video ! 👍
Thanks!
@@RusticEngineering You're welcome
Everything is wrong, is laughable, but is not, is simply dangerous.

The wheels are stress relieved due to long use.
I shudder to think of those poor, unsuspecting customers who will have those wheels fitted to their vehicles.
People who buy these know that these wheels are repaired. These are usually used on slow moving vehicles on farms
Yes This is what they ship to the u.s this what you have in you'r cars when it says "made" in 🇮🇳.
These guys are risking being reported to OSHA for not wearing safety sandals
Interesting video.....But that wheel would never hold up in real use
It will, which is why they do it, but the lifespan is certainly unknown.
These reconditioned wheels are probably used in the replacement market. The quality is average, but usable
The difference between concave and convex is the first in work and the other in dyeing.😂😂😂😂
Must do rustproofing after repair
Pick it up put it on the ground pick it up.
Better than anything from the merica that now US don't have any manufacturing companies they all been outsource 😅😅

Bold of you to assume that the owner of this half assed factory gives a single shit about anyone but himself
Whoh, whoh, whoh: who said the metallurgy of the original manufacturer was all the crash hot?
Its an undevelopped country, they don’t have money.
They are smart and efforted guys. My respects❤❤❤😊

Können Sie auch Flugzeugfelgen reparieren ?
Flugzeugfelgen sind doch deren Speziallität...😂
Hello ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Rust 😂 n roughness from it makes the rim look terrible must’ve gone be used on farm equipment
Yes, these rims are mostly from tractors etc and they are used in farms on slow moving vehicles after repairing
