I am not a professional welder however I do know my way around welding, that grease when heated by that arc would surely have found it’s way into the weld and contaminated the weld, the last thing you want to do is grease something before you weld it
La verdad veo que el lado que metiste a presión,se puede jirar, por que no hay nada que lo bloque, pues la punta con rosca interna se apreta pero el otro lado lo veo muy frágil, es o es un espigón de un cardan,y la fuerza que hace es bastante
Why did you bother threading one side if you are welding ilater? Would the shaft not need to be annealed before processing in order not to break your cuters? How long is the expected life of thispart
As with most videos of this genre and geographic origin, the story is good only to harvest clicks. Those repairs are at best useless, at worst deadly. It is truly pathetic to read all those uuu aaa comments from viewers who have no clue about machining, metallurgy, stresses, balancing, hardening and another dozen of similar "minute details". In one word, pathetic. However, ignorance is a bliss and works both ways. Enjoy.
Load of rubbish! Unnecessary threading, weld contaminated with grease, welding rubbish, tool chattering. You can only fool some of the people ............

You can see the heat affected zone on the part where it was cut in 2 with a torch.
