Thanks. I am definitely feeling better the more I rest. It's helping. I'm excited to spend Christmas and new years here. They are big holidays back home and I'm curious how it is here.
It's amazing how a simple thing like sweeping up or doing laundry can make your day. I remember hating doing it. Now it's a treat. Haha. Funny how your perspective changes as you get older.
I'm just getting over the flu I got before I left for Thailand 😊 Many people have had the same thing for weeks 😢 Hopefully you will be around SR for Christmas and we can catch up.
I will be here for Christmas and would love to catch up. I'm glad that I'm not the only one struggling with this bug. I feel way better than I did last week but I feel like I'm only running on half a tank of gas instead of a full one. It's weird.
@@FrugalWandererTell me about 😢 It's a very strange one that doesn't seem to leave, and makes you feel like you need to nap all the time 😮 Claire is fighting it off at the moment 😞
@BIGJED75 I just woke up from a nap. Haha. It's the wildest thing. I can feel completely fine, running around getting my day started and then suddenly I have zero energy. I can't wait until it's done with me.
Yes! I make Madeline’s! They are very common in the Philippines and my Filipino friends introduced me to them a number of years ago. And I was able to find the little pans !
I'm glad that I got the name right. I remember seeing the pans when I worked for a French chef in Ontario. He made some one Christmas and they were absolutely delicious. If I remember correctly the batter had a bit of an orange flavor to it and then they were dipped in a dark chocolate. So good. Haha
Hey Sean. Good to see you're keeping well. That coffee/bakery shop your in looks nice. I know you mentioned a little while back about making another home cooking video. I would love to see one and hope it's still in your plans.
I am planning on a video like that in the very near future. I was thinking of making one for myself during this holiday season. I just have to see if I can find the bits I want.
Sean, you are living yr best life, I’m tired to a desk working in our justice system nearing retirement age and wish I had the courage to do what yr doing. Stay safe and keep the vlogs coming"………..cheers Gaz
Man do I feel for you. It's hard for me to remember that I was doing the exact same thing just over a year ago. It's almost like a dream that this hasn't always been my life. I honestly have no regrets at all and I'm looking forward to the adventures I have coming up. I hope that you are able to take a leap like this. As long as it's something you truly desire to do. It's been the best choice I've ever made for myself.
Nothing to fear but fear itself. Especially these days with the interwebs. It's like you've already been before you go. One day you wake up, and there you are.
Plan on traveling to Vietnam myself for the hot burning season in Chiang Mai. Last year was horrible and record heat. Enjoyed 3 weeks in Danang area. Maybe see you over that way in march April
The burning season last year was really bad. I was in Bangkok and I couldn't stand it, then I came here and it was like living in a furnace. Haha. At least the air quality was better here. I hope that we do bump into each other while we are there cooling off and breathing better. Haha
@ well I was in a place today called “Lady Khmer kitchen”……not far from pub street area. 2.30 …3 o’clock? Or you say a place and time today Thursday….and I find you. Whatever suits you.
Glad to hear you are just chilling instead of traveling so you can get a full recovery buddy. Enjoy a glittering Christmas in Siem Reap!

Sean often those simple daily routines at and around home are the best aren't they. Particularly when you haven't been 100% ☕️

@FrugalWanderer it really does. Have a lovely weekend ☕️
You too.
Delicious yummy pastry…
It was way better than I thought it would be. I think the fact that it looked like a UFO made it tastier for me. Haha

SR is great place for Christmas and New Year Eve party. You can go to Vietnam for Vietnamese New Year (Tet) in later January …
Now that's an idea. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the tip.
Very good planning, Sean.
I try. There are days that I feel like I'm reacting too quickly, but as long as I slow down and think it through, I enjoy myself.

Have you tried Cafista on wat Bo street?
I have not, but I have added it to my list to check out. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am on my way. I may be a few minutes late. I'm in a tuk tuk in traffic somehow. Haha
