I am from Cuba and spent a family vacation in Varadero as kid back in the mid 1960's and this place was just as beautiful then. The video is very good but I wish it had some narration about Varadero like places to stay, things to do, a little history, restaurants etc. or even some Cuban music in the back ground.
Varadero was my family’s beach choice while I was growing up. Ugh this brings back so many good memories. Great blog can’t wait to take my little ones there next spring. ☺️
I was in Varadero ( Cuba) in December, 2016 , and I Loved Varadero beaches . Unfortunately, the dictatorship in Cuba creates difficulties for a good tourism in Cuba.

Cuba naturaleza salvaje bella y mar agua cristalina templada. Me ha sorprendido belleza de éste país: todo verde con calor qué hace. Pero....muchas pobrezas I suciedad en todas partes. La Habana sucia I llena de jinetes. Qué pena. Espero qué mejore con tiempo. Y verdad para extranjeros estamos de lujo y para cubanos no disfrutan de su país. Hay que cambiar presidente. Que viva Cuba y espero mucho cambio de limpieza en todos.

If you are seeing this video in 2023: SKIP THIS VARADERO PLACE IN GENERAL. It got so bad. It's like a ghost town and the quality of everything got so low. There is just few food, few products and so many places are starved. In the big resorts they also have limited food to offer. Mostly lobster. The port is empty. I hope I can save someone's money and holiday with this review. Book to another place, another country. Don't fall for the videos and reviews from years ago (Like I did).
