Got the new AC1750 and the onemesh was so simple to use and set up on the tether app! I also got my Range extender (RE305) connected. All works so seamlessly. Thanks!
Ps. Please add support for google assistant :)
How many mesh extenders can I set up on my network? Im looking to buy the triband AX4500. I am using an AX1500 with OneMesh support as my router.
Contact our support team for assistance. They will need to know how many floors your home is and how large the home is. With that they should be able to give your an estimation on how many nodes you would need.
@@TPLINKUS Thank you so much😄
I currently have 2 RE215 range extenders and they both support OneMesh. Is it possible to use one of the extenders as the main router and the othe RE215 as like the range extender as shown in the video?
No, unfortunately not. OneMesh requires a router as the main unit. Range Extenders can only act as satellite units.
can i use 2 c64 router(supports one mesh) connected via lan cable to work in mesh, first one to act broadband, second as router
No. in a OneMesh network only the main unit can be a router. The satellites are either Range Extenders or Powerline Adapters that are compatible with OneMesh
Which is the best extender for TP-Link Archer C6 (US Version-3.20) AC1200 1200mbps MU-MIMO Gigabit Router?
really it would be personal preference but I would go with the RE315. Also AC1200 but with external antennas with better reception in my humble opinion, plus it also support OneMesh so with the C6 and the extender you can make a mesh network without the need for expensive hardware.
Thanks
If I have 2 RE450 Extenders, can they link to same route in OneMesh mode?
Sure but they do need to be RE450 Version 4 or higher. Older versions of the RE450 are not compatible with OneMesh
Still waiting for firmware updates to the AV600 power line extenders to enable one mesh, still says coming soon after 6 months, when will these models support onemesh??
We have no ETA for OneMesh updates for powerline yet.
Do I have to have a tp link router for one mesh, I want to make sure.
Yes it has to be a OneMesh compatible TP-Link Router and TP-Link Range Extender. The tech is proprietary.
is RE 500 range extender compatible with one mesh. I am using a Archer C6 router. Can Re500 be connected to Archer C6 via one mesh ?
www.tp-link.com/onemesh/product-list/ Check this list it will be the most up to date information on OneMesh
Does archer c64 support one mesh with RE200 AC750 range extender?
OneMesh support can be found here: www.tp-link.com/us/onemesh/product-list/
Is TL-WR840N compaible with AC1200 Mesh Wi-Fi Range Extender(RE300)
Will the Archer A20 (AC4000) support OneMesh in the near future?
keep an eye on this site. www.tp-link.com/onemesh/product-list/ this will have the most update information on onemesh compatibility in your area.
Can I use Access Point for One mesh ?
At this time no. Since OneMesh only works with one router it does require that router to be in routing mode.
Can we do this via your computer.... If not.... why not? My WIFI is for my computer not a smart phone....
ruclips.net/video/8DvY9TDiRWs/видео.html
I have the C7 v4, will I be able to use OneMesh?
No. OneMesh compatibly started with Version 5's hardware.
Can control such as mac filter in mesh network?
Mac Filtering can be controlled through the router's UI
I am very dissatisfied that having bought the TP-link Archer AX6000 and other products with the belief that the firmware will be upgraded for OneMesh, it is still not available after 4 months with NO DATE even in sight ! I feel that I was mis-sold this product !
When purchasing a product we never recommend buy based on a planned feature. Plans can change or take time to be implemented. Instead we recommend buying products based on their current features.
@@TPLINKUS Sorry- that is very misleading sales information. Then why does TP-Link put the word "PLANNED" against many of its products in its sales and marketing material? Why do you feel the need to provide information that may or not become reality to sell your products ?
this is the really unsatisfactory interaction i had with your CUSTOMER SERVICE department.........Agent Holly is at your service and hope the service will be satisfactory to you.

2020-09-30 12:42:37
this model still under planned to enable the onemesh function, please keep an eye on the official website, and we will upgrade the firmware soon
2020-09-30 12:43:48
it is very frustrating.........is it possible to be sent a beta version of the upgrade so that i can try it out now
i have already been waiting about 4 months
2020-09-30 12:48:55
I fully understand your feelings and thank you very much for your expectations of our products. But adding this feature takes a lot of time to implement, so it is difficult to determine when it will be launched. Currently we do not have beta software to support this function, I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
how about changing my router then........
2020-09-30 12:51:09
i have already bought other TP LInk onemesh products that cannot be used to their full potential
2020-09-30 12:55:00
got it.
i will try my best to urge the relate department to hurry up launch the firmware and feedback the needs.
2020-09-30 12:56:57
Thanks but that is not a satisfactory answer....
I would like you to send me a onemesh enabled router and i will send back the AX6000
2020-09-30 13:00:03
i am sorry, we cannot provide another router which can support the onemesh, i may suggest you to change the model from the retailer.
2020-09-30 13:01:11
thats really poor customer service .....
2020-09-30 13:02:23
i bought the product on the basis that onemesh was coming and it is clear that you cannot even confirm a date.......who knows it might be in 5 years !
2020-09-30 13:05:50
we do posting that the onemesh is coming soon, but we didn't provide the exact date about when to launch
it was not the retailer that said onemesh was coming.......it was tp link
when is soon
what do you mean by soon?
2020-09-30 13:06:51
can you try to get a date please
2020-09-30 13:10:16
i am sorry we cannot provide an excate date when it will release.
if you still want to change the model can support onemesh, we have 4 model present can support this function:

2020-09-30 13:13:30
i dont need an exact date........can you give an approximate timescale please?
2020-09-30 13:17:39
it is decidecded by the marketing and R&D department, we are the technical support, and we don't have the relate information about the release date.

Thanks

i am sorry, we have no this information at all, please contact the sales department instead
@@anthonycohen4785 Not 100% sure about the UK. But in the US we do not typically give timeframes. This is a slippery slope because timeframes can change and only create further issues. For OneMesh i have not heard of any time frame for this router and the UK is most likely the same position as we are and has timeframe.
@@TPLINKUS It was a very bad business decision by TP-Link to use the carrot of Onemesh in its sales and marketing material for this and other products, if TP-link cannot provide any timeframe of availability for the consumer. It is not just me saying this......i have read many comments on forums with other buyers of the TP-Link Archer AX 6000 router having the same frustration as me !! If TP-Link can't give ANY timeframe/or even guarantee that this feature will ever become available on this product , TP-Link needs to remove any mention of ONEMESH. Look at APPLE, they don't promote future technologies to promote their current products, as a way of trying to influence the consumer. By all means provide firmware updates that improve a product, but your consumers will be much more impressed when you surprise them rather than by frustrating and misleading them.
hi I'm using archer C60 with my tl-wa850re extender and RE200 can I setup on OneMesh?
No not at this time. The feature may be added to the C60 in the future but we are not able to confirm that yet.
TP-Link when will this feature be a avaliable for the Archer c6?
@@fernandomendez2675 We can only speak about the US but here that feature is already available once the firmware is installed.
Can two One Mesh product build only one SSID ?
Actually that is how it works. A OneMesh router will need Smart Connect active. Then a OneMesh RE or Powerline adapter will clone the SSID and broadcast the same name for seamless wifi coverage.
does Archer AX10 onemesh suport onemesh?
These are the product that currently do or will support OneMesh in the US. www.tp-link.com/us/onemesh/compatibility/? currently the AX10 is not supported but it will be.
Can I create OneMesh in my home with 2 routers Archer C6 and 1 router Archer AX10? Or do I need Wifi Extender? Thank you.
No in a OneMesh system it can only be one router. the reset of the nodes are going to be range Extenders or PLC adapters running in OneMesh mode.
Has this been updated to include two routers in one system? If not, this is a HUGE oversight
Where is OneMesh support on premium c5400x???
www.tp-link.com/us/onemesh/compatibility/ this is the current and planned routers that have or may be getting OneMesh.
@@TPLINKUS i got that, but why? I don't understand why premium routers from pre-last generation are lost without adequate support?
@@saparskima4240 Its not lost with out adequate support. OneMesh was never, at least to my understanding a feature that was going to be available on the C5400X. In fact in most cases Tri-Band Router will not get OneMesh because extenders and PLC are not tri-band. I am surprised the AX11000 is planned. With the C5400X the Range should be at a level where Mesh is not needed. If you have issues with the range try changing the Wireless Transmission power.
@@TPLINKUS thank you for your response! I've got 2 floors and underground basement, basement is a place where I concentrated all my key devices like NAS (with linkaggr), security cameras plugged, ISP modem and other. So for a great coverage and high speed at 1-2 floors I need additional access points, for example to connect more than one 4kTV, many smartphones and tablets, etc. As you can see it's not enough to have only a high-end router...
So OneMesh support for premium devices would be a great solution for people like me. But whatdaheck I see ac6000x as supported soon...
@@saparskima4240 I will say this if it is OneMesh that you seek please do not purchase a router until the feature is released for it. This is because plans can change and if a product is bought for a planned feature that ends up not be delivered there is nothing we can do for the customer. Rather than tarnish a relationship with the customer we ask that product be bought based on the features they currently have and if something new is added than its a bonus rather than a point of contention.
The TP-Link app and component response screens shown here look nothing like what I see on my phone. Further, I can't even find the "Tether" app the last screen talks about. Do yourself a favor and buy something that actually comes with an instruction manual.
Hugh, Go to the support page for the product you own. There should be a tab that says apps. This will link you to the IOS or Google Play store location for the app. Instructions are not provided with the product because its not cost effective. We do however provide a PDF user manual on our website as well as FAQs and these online video tutorials If that does not help we suggest contacting support.
Archer C5 V2?? Don't Work !
That is because its not coming to the product. www.tp-link.com/us/onemesh/compatibility/?
This doesn’t show how to connect two routers
OneMesh is unable to connect two routers. In OneMesh network you have the main router and then extenders or powerline adapters as the satellite units.
@@TPLINKUS yikes. Ok thank you for the quick response.
@@TechDoneRight1 my pleasure
Can Re605x working in one mesh if it is in access point setting?
No.
does archer C6 v2 support one mesh
Yes and it also supports through a firmware update WPA3.
I have extender RE205 does it support one mesh with Archer C6 v2??
@@chiragsankhe6033 V2 and V3 of the RE205 do support OneMesh. V1 does not.
