THE BEST INSTRUCTIONS!!! Thank you so VERY much! I've been trying to get set up for weeks. I had a lot of problems with my Internet subscriber & this morning someone came & he fixed his end but said he couldn't connect my new router! Right after he left EVERYTHING STOPPED working! After calling them AGAIN, they said why not rent ours? No thanks! So thank you for your EASY step-by-step instructions that were easy to understand & finally got me up & running!
I spent 4 hours on the phone to my internet supplier losing my crap at them. Untill I came across this. I honestly don't know what to say. Thank you is just not enough. You have earnt my subscribe.
Thank you for this tutorial, I had the router sitting around thinking I could not connect it to my home hub. This video made the connection effortless. 👍🏻👍🏻
I just purchased a new Archer wifi router (all the directions ere on Japanese). I followed your tutorial here. And everything was perfect! This is a great tutorial, taught by a wonderful teacher. Thank you for this. Great job! Many thanks
Woah, this tutorial worked for me too! Just bought my ax55 tp-link router online and ive watched a lot of tutorials but they were kind of complicated-- been struggling for 2 hours & got iritated 😅, but this tutorial Sir is very easy, direct & effective. Thank you so much Sir! God bless you, truly.
Thank you so much ,after watching numerous videos, yours is the one only one that made mention that we need to connect to the wi-Fi created but not the already used wi-fi. Thanks
Thanks a lot, nobody does mention about booting up time, that's one serious matter to me when it comes to routers. I used to use a router that does full reset in secs, every config is fast too. It was convenient.
I’ll tell you ,I’m getting over 400 downloads and 12 on the upload. My old router was way outdated and needed a nap . I followed this video to the letter a it’s been working great , I’ve got nine things hooked up to it and everything runs super fast. No more dropping calls on my magicjack and the iPad runs super fast now , I couldn’t be happier, thanks for the great video.
I luv my tp-link router. Helpful hint: follow directions AND go slow. I was plugging in cables very fast and moving things around. Router would not work. So I left everything plugged in and walked away. 5 minutes later I went back to try again and everything worked perfectly.
Question 🙋🏽♂️, I’m new to using/learning about vpns/vpn routers, I understand the set up process but I’m just curious to a few things and was wondering if maybe you knew the answers & could help. ISP modem is just the router/modem you get from like COX or whatever brand for TV/internet correct? Is this vpn like a monthly subscription or no? How do I change like my country server using this vpn? Like say I’m in Canada but Netflix or Hulu doesn’t work here and I wanna switch it California so I can use Netflix or Hulu, how would I switch back and forth? Can this even do that?
Thanks for your router setup. I was using Xplornet with my Tp Link AX6000 AX90 Wi-Fi 6 router and now we have Bell Fibre Great speeds. Can I use my old router to expand my network and set up like you did in the video? Thanks again.
Finally I found a clearly laid out video of the steps to setup a TP-Link router with the Tether App. Thank you very much for doing such a nice job in creating this video. Could you use a laptop to do the setup rather than your phone?
Can you please share any video on configuring this router wirelessly with another modem/router to increase wireless coverage. I don’t want cable connection b/w my modem and router as primary modem I have can connect devices wirelessly
I have a fiber setup with modem/router combo along with an additional mesh router in another room. Will this change anything with the setup? Or the network?
@ sort of! My BT router is actually also a modem, so I was able to keep both on at the same time. I ended up returning this though as I didn’t see any difference in my internet speed or access in the flat
I have virgin media hub 3.0 Do you have to put it into modem mode first as I've connected without doing that and it's working but not sure if I'm just using at as an extender now instead? 🤔 thanks
Great video, I have ordered one as we have 500mbs fibre and modem installed but an old router connected to a MESH system that is not working well. Couple of questions please? If I use the new TP link router, I presume I can turn off the wifi and then use the MESH plugged into it? Second question: if the TP link is good enough to dispense with MESH (which I am hoping for!) can you add a guest wifi network? we already have one and some devices in our house have this as fail-over, so wanted to keep it all simple. Many thanks!!!
Thanks for the easy to understand but detailed step by step tutoriol. I just bought the AX55 but have not installed it yet. Do you recommend setting up automatic reboots, and where do you configure this setting? It seemed that some Amazon reviews recommended this.
Pretty good router, I had to mess around with a few settings to get it to work with my modem as it didn’t work right out the box and was displaying an orange light on the ‘internet’ LED for a good 2 hours before I worked out why. (Had to enable IPTV/VLAN and select Custom from ISP Profile) Range is better than my ISP supplied router, but not as good as I thought it would be for a 4 antenna router considering my house is a small 2 story townhouse.
Hi there.. thanks for the video. I have tplink ax55 connected to ISP modem. and i have deco mesh. Can i connect the deco mesh to the tplink router? Is that possible? Thank you
Great tutorial thank you 😊 Now just consfused as to whther the old router needs to remain in place because its connected to the new one. Advice anyone? Switching from virigin media hub 3
I've got this for My PS5 in hopes it makes the online games faster. I've connected it and I did the Internet connection test on the ps5 to see if there's any difference and there isn't it sags mbps around 36 which is same as old WiFi network but this time it legs me connect to 5ghz on the WiFi network on ps5 will this make it any better less lag if you get me because the mbps is same and I've heard loads of people say they're in the hundreds and mines about 30ish lol. Thanks

So I have a standard sky internet service and wanted to get one of these for potentially streaming and gaming. Is it worth it?
I have a fiber setup with modem/router combo along with an additional mesh router in another room. Will this change anything with the setup? Or the network?
Excellent well done video, very helpful !!!
Thanks for this! Is there a way to get rid of the originally router, or do both need to keep connected?
@@nathlondon did you find the answer?
@ sort of! My BT router is actually also a modem, so I was able to keep both on at the same time. I ended up returning this though as I didn’t see any difference in my internet speed or access in the flat
Thanks for the help!
Thank you very much but if I connect it can I put it on another room and disconnect the enthernet cable?
No, it should always be connected physically to the modem
Very good video I use a taplink mr500 can I connect this as my main router it works with a sim card thanks
Very helpful, but can you show how to set up a network using a web browser instead of tether app. Thanks
Thanks for the info
Good day Sir, do i need it on static instead of dynamic when for setting it up for my Ps5 and and Ps Portal
Does the usb port support usb tethering?
What do I do with my current router? Bin it or connect through it?
I have virgin media hub 3.0
Do you have to put it into modem mode first as I've connected without doing that and it's working but not sure if I'm just using at as an extender now instead? 🤔 thanks

Thank you 👌✌️👍
Thanks for the easy to understand but detailed step by step tutoriol. I just bought the AX55 but have not installed it yet. Do you recommend setting up automatic reboots, and where do you configure this setting? It seemed that some Amazon reviews recommended this.
I personally never setup automatic reboots. I think you can find it under Advanced, system tools
Is this way the same for the TP-Link Archer AX53 AX300mbps wifi 6 router
Yes
Helpful video, thanks. When configuring in bridge mode, should the WiFi from the ISP provided router be disabled? Thanks
You can disable it if not needed
Many thanks
Excellent tutorial 😅
excellent video - thank you so much, very helpful
Thx! this was a big help!
Do you need a modem or can you just buy the router
I need my TP as an internet extension, after I follow your video can I move the TP??
Pretty good router, I had to mess around with a few settings to get it to work with my modem as it didn’t work right out the box and was displaying an orange light on the ‘internet’ LED for a good 2 hours before I worked out why.

Hi there.. thanks for the video.

What’s the brand of the modem you’re using ?
It is Thomson

Wow bro it’s connected now 😂 so easy following this video without I’m just guessing following the instructions
Glad it helped
Great tutorial thank you 😊 Now just consfused as to whther the old router needs to remain in place because its connected to the new one. Advice anyone? Switching from virigin media hub 3
Can we convert the router into access point? Or make a tutorial on tp link router to access point.
Thanks for the video.........
Do I need both routers plugged in at same time for use
What do you mean by both routers? If you mean the modem and the router, then yes
Thanks
Thanks. Great video !
This explains why my router didn't connect to the internet. I didn't know I needed a separate Modem to connect it to.
Thank you so much
Great tutorial!! Thank u!!
You are so welcome!
Is this a good router ? I have netgear rn
Yes it's a good router. The best routers though are Asus routers. Look at this comparison: ruclips.net/video/QUd2dh7fodU/видео.html
Connected to WiFi but not internet.
