I keep explaining that but - in typical boomer fashion - they don't listen. They just have to keep making the same mistakes over and over and over, then move the goalposts so they can act like they never did anything wrong.
People forget about Gen X. Jake, Jeff Holliday, Demon Mama, and even Arron Ra come off very Gen X regardless of their age.

Things I never get with these people: 1) Why would you be embarrassed by something you put up yourself and made an identifying factor of your channel? This is just desperately struggling to deflect from actual conversation. DESPERATELY. 2) Why would your birth year make you immune from an internet insult? I only have trauma from 9/11 from being a child taken out of school, got home in time to see the second tower hit on live TV, and the massive news media circus of the towers footage over and over again. (Obviously not as bad as those in the area). Plus the bomb threat drills our school ran every year after, already on top of what were precursors to sh00ter drills of today because of Columbine, which kids in our classes were shown some mid 2000s short about. Also a touchy subject over that footage, but who knows if I saw that oversaturated media footage in 1999 or if it was/is more the horrors of mass sh00tings now and...I could ramble. I dunno why I'm watching this video, I'm not a subscriber of yours (yet), nor have I watched any other content on this. But I came across this Diversity and Dragons guy once and I remember checking out one video based on his channel name and the low subscriber count, wanting to check out a smaller RUclipsr. I don't remember the video, but it was IMMEDIATELY offensive and like... confusing, just hearing the way he talks and the other people off-screen talk. Even if you put side the politics, he's immediately turning people off from watching his content. I don't remember any of the details, but I do remember how fucking confused and just turned off by his content I was within like, 5 seconds.
