@Jawla678 Thank you!!! :) Hope you enjoy Venice!!!
Can you take luggage on the Vaporetto when you first arrive from the train station??
I’ve a silly question. I’ll be visiting Italy in early Dec. I saw tourists wearing rain boots/cover in your video. Is it something we should bring to Venice just in case of flood or we can buy when we are there or can we even purchase from the hotel in Venice?
How do you get around all these places? Like Piazza San Marco, Saint Marks Basilica? Do water taxi drop you off right on the area where you want to see? How do you communicate / let them know which place you want to visit? And how far distance when you drop you off ? Thx
Hello @hhuynh5273!! Water taxi usually leaves you as closest as possible from the point that you want! As this people are in use to talk to tourist, even if they dont speak your language very well, you can easily try to show in the map the name of the place you want to go!! people in Italy usually are very friendly so they might try to help you!! :) However, if possible for you / if you have time, I always recommend walking a little bit around the city, specially between Venezia "Santa Luzia" and "Piazza San Marco"!! And of course, also take a water taxi and / or the "vaporetto" (which gives you a very nice overview from the water...and you cna make beautiful pictures :)
Esempio di turismo straccione:pendolarismo che lascia alla città solo pattumiera e sovraffollamento.
