This video is about how to get from Marco Polo Airport to Venice by water taxi. I recommend the private water taxi for large family. Cost was 160 Euros for 9 people. So much simpler than taking a public water taxi and having to deal with the crowds.

Any thoughts on motion sickness? This looks like the clear/best option for my family, but my daughter has gotten a little uncomfortable on boats out in the Atlantic, before. Not sure how much fortitude is required. Also, do you know if the taxis are widely available well after nightfall? We land at around 8PM. I actually selected your video because it’s a little darker than the sunny boating thumbnails. Thanks, and this is a great help, already!

My wife and I get motion sickness very easily but I will say the ride is very smooth and the water calm. We did not have to take any motion sickness medicine. We had a 19 month old and a 6 year old and they did well. It felt like a river boat ride. Water taxis are available 24/7. Have a safe travel!

There’s a Speed Boat to Venice counter at the airport near baggage claim. No appointments needed to book a water taxi. Took us no more than 45 mins on arrival to get luggage, go through customs, book water taxi, then 10-15 mins walk to the water taxi outside the airport.

Once you purchase your water taxi ticket how do you know which dock and pier and boat it will be?

The ticket will have that information for you. There's only 1 dock right outside the airport.
