- This bad boy right here, the acemagician AM06, is a powerful tiny little gaming PC. Look how freaking tiny this thing is! And this thing can ACTUALLY play games, believe it or not. Good games!. And it can do emulation too! And it’s also a PC, so it does PC stuff. And the best part is that it’s cheap as heck. HECK I TELL YOU!

"Don't let the size fool you" that's what I tell my wife ! LOL
I like that it has alot of holes.
particularly 'A holes on the backside'.....that made me giggle.
Holy.
I love playing "Italian Plumber Galaxy" on Snitch!
These Mini PC can be a good replacement for Raspberry Pi arcade builds, Thank you Mr Dweeb, your content is always enjoyable and informational. Keep up the Great work
Great little thing a ma bob. 🎮
You always get the good stuff dude.
Keep up the good work. 😎👍💯
Thanks UC™ , will do!
It's an absolute steal!! Thanks for the awesome vid
Love those little PCs. I have one in my bedroom and it jams just as much as I need it to. I may upgrade in the near future, but i just can't justify at the moment, but when I do I'll be sure to use your amazon link like a good dweeb.
Yeah stick with what you have if it works! Appreciate it JD!
I have a Beelink with a very similar CPU/APU as the AM06, it has the Ryzen 5 5560U, great little computer, will play most Indie games and older AAA games all day long, defiantly good enough for a daily driver as long as your not doing anything that is super CPU intensive.
wow that is so cool that you got the product from the company itself mashallah brother your channel is growing
Slowly but surely!
@TechDweeb You've developed a really slick brand with lots of details and texture and style that's fun to watch even for products I'm not interested in buying. Bu... but, if your sponsors are reading, I AM interested in buying their products. All of them! Especially the ones they send you for free
I love the PC stuff man! Enjoy most of your content, but PCs are my jam.
Thanks D-Red. More to come!
Love the USB a holes!
"Giggle hurts" cracks me up every time xD
I got the same specs on my laptop. It's alright for a midrange laptop it beats my 7 year laptop. Although the gpu is on the lower end. So it's a midrange lower end budget system. Eta prime got to run botw but he push the performance to the max. Me I'm not too fond of pushing it. So I usually use my old 7 year laptop for running batocera.
We demand a Triple decker PB&J 🤯 affiliate link.... pretty cool little device not something in the market for, but a nice price point... great vid TD
Stay tuned for my 2nd channel GrubDweeb
It's got the same chip as my work laptop, so I had the chance to see the performance my laptop won't be achieving, because it's a work laptop for work. Unless I get a bigger ssd for it, in which case it'll definitely game because it can!
Be a cool device to take on the go when traveling. Plug it straight into the hotel tv.
True! ANd because it uses a USBc port for power you can make do with one adapter.
not bad for the price.. i mainly play Path of Exile.. any chance you can try that on this? i would pick one up in a heartbeat if it can play that smoothly.. Thanks TD!!
Really impressed it is not full of bloatware!! That and the fact that it is not noisy are two very important factors for me. Very silly question: in terms of gaming how different do you think this APU is compared to the 5600H? The 5600H draws more power so it may be better for gaming/emulation. Your humor btw is just AWESOME 😎😎😎
Not sure tbh. I haven't had a chance to try the 5600H yet. Probably not as powerful as that, like you said because of the power draw, so if raw performance is what you want then it's not going to do as well, but I think the 5650u will be more efficient, and I doubt they're THAT far apart for performance anyways.
@@TechDweeb
Many thanks TD 😁😁
I always wonder with these little boxes if an eGPU would make it a true gaming beast... I think that separated gaming PC components would be an interesting aesthetic, if somewhat limited by communication bandwidth or whatnot...
I came from the Apple ecosystem in days gone - and I still restore old ones - and some really nice monitors got ignored because the PC inside had an easily dated GPU component you couldn't change. I mean, a 5k monitor with a 395x? Yeah, it was a good card - but gaming with it at 5k in 2015 would still have been, um, rough... I digress, fellow dweebs.
Personally, I'd love to see more cRPGs on these little boxes in benchmarks (but I realize it isn't what most folks care about in fps scores). The CPU is often as important as the GPU with all the math stuffs, and I've seen quite a bit of bottleneck on (admittedly older) CPU/Graphic Card combinations - Owlcat's Pathfinder is actually kinda mean, PoE can be surprising.
Anywho, thanks for another video!
got the 5625u version for 260 10 days ago, works great!
I’m glad this one has so many a holes. There are never enough a holes around.
USB a-holes. You do NOT want a non-usb a-hole
come to the USA; we have an overabundance on the right
I'll upgrade to a mini pc eventually, but I think that I'll wait a bit and go for DDDR5 as the benefits of fast RAM for the graphics are significant. Triple decker PBJ form factor is burned into my psyche. Now you made me hungry! 🤤
🥪
The mini PC this guy is reviewing is junk. It truly is cheap in every way. I just got my MINISFORUM Venus Series UM773 Lite Mini PC with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, 8 Cores/16 Threads, base clock of 3.2 GHz, Up to 4.75GHz. Installed with dual channel DDR5 32GB(2x16GB) RAM, M.2 2280 1TB PCIe4.0 SSD, and Widows 11 Pro. I also put a SAMSUNG 870 EVO 2TB 2.5 Inch SATA III SSD in it. It also has 2 x HDMI (4K@60Hz)ports, 1 x USB4 Type-C(4K@80Hz)Port, 1 x USB 3.2 Type-C( data only, In Right) and 4 x USB 3.2 Type-A, 1 x RJ45 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, 1 x DMIC port, WiFi6, and Bluetooth 5.2. This thing is a little productivity and connectivity monster. I've only had it for 5 days and I'm already loving the little beast.

@@bondr006 ugh this comment reads like a paid advertisement. who compares a higher end $500 mini pc to a $300 one anyway? they're marketed at two different types of people with different needs and budgets
@@hi_its_jerry Well, first off, I am just a consumer like you, so not paid. This is my personal PC and it excites me to see the power this little thing has, especially coming from an 8 year old HP laptop with quad core i7, 16gb ram, and Samsung 840 EVO SATA SSD. For just a couple hundred more you can have a much more powerful beast with a better name.
@@bondr006 A couple hundred more is double the price of this. In no one's world they are comparable. There are plenty of other reviews for more costly mini pcs. It is only "junk" if you can find a better mini pc for same price level.
Is the Italian plumber game is super gaetano brothers or is it the mario twins lol
Can i run Davinci Resolve 18 on this ? I want to edit video for my You tube channel and my laptop is getting old (5 years) and looking for a good / cheap replacment I also like to play retro games Thanks LOVE UR CHANNEL
Yup. It's not going to have AMAZING performance in video editing, but it would get the job done. Good performance for the price at least.
Could you test world of warcraft performance plz?
A holes, every mini pc needs A holes😂
Great Review
Thank you Sir
#techdweeb what's the neon retro desktop wallpaper on monitor while showing the benchmark and Windows tweak programs? Thanks In Advance 👍
Search up "Retro arcade desktop wallpaper" on google and you'll find it.
@@TechDweeb Thanks 👍 The channel rocks
Would you say this is or isn’t on the same level as the Ace Magician AMR5 mini pc you reviewed?
Yeah both the same level. This one is better though. Hard to say exactly, maybe 10 to 20% better? The main benefit to this one is that it's a lot smaller and super quiet.
As a Heck, I approve of this message.
Nice review...you said "A-hole" multiple times btw🤣.
Love those USB Aholes !
Just make sure to keep them clean!
People say that some models of ace magician are infected with viruses is that true? I bought the amd ryzen 7 version 32 gigs of ram, im concerned.
will this run the 4tb retrobeast build you just reviewed well? thanks!
Definitely! I think this would be a solid combo, however just know that the xbox 360 games and some of the ps3 games might not run at full speed. You should have no issues with gamecube and below though.
@@TechDweeb do you have something that you recommend that would handle everything? I don't want to get something that's way too strong, just something strong enough. Thanks!
Can I edit videos on this? How much stress do you think this can take
Yup, you can do video editing. Heavy stuff will get laggy (effects, filters, etc), but normalish video editing should work fine, and rendering is fine too.
Now that you posted the video, the price went up.
Price went down to 290 folks. Hell yes.
Gigolhertz? Gigglehertz? __holes ?
i bought a Beelink Ser5 pro 5800H and man that has the vega 8 iGPU with 32gb of memory its a power house of a little box that is the same size as my xbox controller lol.
Looks like a solid device!
Nice, its actually cheap, theres a new pc like this about double price or more with ryzen 7935hs, but is more powerful
Can it hook a GPU like eta does?
Good price!!
Coupon is gone 😢 great review buddy
Here's a new link with an even BETTER coupon! amzn.to/3MSyPVd
Great for the price.
Missed opportunity to test it with an external GPU
I wish I had one!
I just have to ask, why do you dislike USB-A ports so much? On several occasions I have noticed that you continue to call them a-holes. I mean sure, they are the slower, elderly brother to USB-C ports, but that is no reason to call them nasty names :p On a side note, I have a decent gaming PC, but this might be a good device to hook up to my TV as a dedicated emulation device when paired with the Hyper Base drive you reviewed a few weeks ago.
Yeah I think I might make another vid specifically showing how it does when paired with the drive. That's a great combo.
I think it's funny he calls them a-holes.
did i hear a hole?
Must have been your imagination.
Can you upgrade gpu?
You can actually buy series s for that price and play all your favorite emulators as well with developer mode...
Wasn't there a thing about XBox killing support for emulators in dev mode?
Yeah they pulled the app down from there store unfortunately.I was gonna mod my old xbox one to play ps2 games too.😢
@@TechDweeb ruclips.net/video/T1C2yQI9rss/видео.html
I heard you say USB A-holes. 😆😆😆
Where’s the uk link 😭
How upgradable is it?
NVME SSD, 2.5" drive, and RAM are your upgrade options.
@@TechDweeb Thank you. I’ve been a bit disappointed with the PlayStation/Sony lately and was thinking of giving PC gaming a go. Not sure if this or the Steam deck.
They increased the price on this thing, wtf?!
Here ya go ;)
amzn.to/3J6yw8j
So... we can safely say it's almost nothing, but a-holes...
yes...?
Yeah pretty much 😏
What is that monitor?
ASUS VG248QG
@@TechDweeb Thank you great video I hope you do 4k low spec emulation on this mini pc 😛
"Bigger is better" AGAIN...that's what she said 😔
I have an $160 gaming pc
What about vr?
im not super sure but it might do some bonelab mid graphics 30fps ish and some blade and sorcery at 40 fps mid (maybe)
😂 he said 2 "A" holes !!
USB-A holes. Get your mind out of the gutter!
Is it worth the $100 price increase to go to the Amd 7 model? Wanting to run ps3/360 and below
Interesting.... I despise Sharp Square flat corners. and I am not a Mac Person. I am a Linux Guy
To me the rounded corners look super dated. They will especially in a few years, but even now. Websites abandoned that aesthetic a few years ago, now it's all about clean grids without drawing attention to the edges. I feel that the Metro aesthetic is a lot more in keeping with modern design trends.
@@TechDweeb HOw is that Possible since actually it is Square corners that are older? Since the inception of a GUI they have always been Sharp and Square....only MacOS had it round to better conform to the actual shape of the edges of a CRT screen.
These guys must consider coming to African countries with this
It's a PC you can use for gaming, sure, but I really wouldn't call it a "gaming PC" when its onboard GPU is so much weaker than my very aged 1050 ti. Also, some indie games are pretty damn graphically intensive these days - the 6 year old Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, for example, is as gpu hungry as Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Good point
$260 is NOT cheap, under $100, now you're talking cheap. I challenge you to find an x86 system that can run all the way up to xbox 360 games for less than 100 USD. Can it be done? I don't know.
Ridiculous, in terms of mini PC's yes 260$ is cheap !!
If you're looking for something for under 100$ or lower that can do what you're asking then I CHALLENGE YOU to find one and make your own video on it. If not sit down and stfu and enjoy the video.
maybe in 10 years if we're lucky 😅✌
@@jonnyfatboy7563 nope. I reject that, I think with enough hunting, you COULD find a used x86 platform that could handle xbox 360 games for under $100. It might not be this tiny formfactor, but then again I've always found super tiny PCs silly
@@mattparker9726 so basically you're saying you're an idiot for commenting specifically on a video about a tiny PC which you find "silly"
You're also a bigger idiot for "challenging" him to find one for under 100$
Stop living in wonderland bro
