THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I have been having issues with the air conditioning system on my 2009 Honda Civic for almost 1 year. After turning the car on, the air conditioning system would take almost 1 hour for the cooling system to kick in after a I heard click sound coming from the compressor area. Whenever I took the car to have the air conditioning system checked I was told it is an electrical problem but no one wanted to be a bit more detailed. A hand held device was used to check the air conditioning system but no one would let me see what the results were. I was told that further diagnostic testing was necessary. I began searching online for possible causes for the clicking sound that to what I could determine obviously signaled the compressor to turn on and I can across this video. After watching your video, I tested the A/C relay fuse as per your video instructions. BINGO, a simple $20 A/C relay fuse is all that was necessary and now my A/C system is working. Thank you so much.

I know this is an old video, but very helpful. I want to add that the a/c clutch fuse is the 7.5 amp fuse, not the 15amp fuse. The 15 is the main. This video did help me after I reread the diagram on the underside of the fuse box. I had a blown 7.5amp fuse not allowing my clutch to kick on. My a/c blowing ice cold now with a full recharge. Thanks homie

Thank you! Praise the Lord!

They also said to come back if it doesn't stay cool over the next year. If I can get through the year, then I just need to top it off and won't need to worry about fixing it (they were thinking it was a leek and added die or something). Anyways, this was super helpful. @@RBTheMechanic I only paid $6.25 for the ac relay also I had bought the 15 amp fuse as well. Switched them both out. Still didn't work same issue. Here's the deal my mom is 83 with asthma trying to work on her car last summer with the issue with the ac . Charged it up with freon still blew hot air out through the vents even with the ac compressor working. I replaced the old one and I bought a new cabin filter earlier put it in Jan 2019 . The ac started acting up blowing hot air out in the beginning of summer. Where I live it gets really hot. Now at this time the ac compressor was kicking on and off. Now I just noticed it isn't no longer. Can you tell me what the deal is on this? And maybe how I can fix it? I am like everyone else money is tight temporarily. I would appreciate it. @@RBTheMechanic Last year in July the ac compressor was working fine when I added ac freon cause it was low. Plus the ac compressor kept kicking on off more than usually . That's usually a sign that freon is needed. Since I was not able to use the ac at all last year cause I didn't know where the ac relay was located at. Then i just had watched your video on how to. I decided to go buy those particular items. When I replaced the ac relay and 15 amp today I turned on the ac full blast for the very first time in a long time. I HAVE A QUESTION ; My Ac Was not cooling as before ; some mechanic told me have to add freon , I did 1 can , Then started cooling better. Now is been a while ; it stared again to not blowing cold cold air as when I added freon , I connected the gouges and I was about to add more ( if needed ) but I read that it was rigth at the Edge of the green ( Filled ) area I presed the needle on the L pressure and it blowed Freon , What could be then the issue with my Car nit blowing cold air then ? THE compressor works fine , I replaced the MG cloth because I noticed it was cracked a whole back , .So I don't know why the Ac Is not Cooling properly 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well adding the Freon to the system with can might work and u get lucky but eventully it will have offset pressure air and Freon so it dosent work out well so ur reading can be air pressure and low on gas anyways to resolve this issue and take out the doubt do a ac service with ac machine recover then 20 min vaccum and the. Recharge and see how that work out
