When I was a boy I finally was able to buy my very own first console with the money I'd save up, it was a GameCube with one controller, no memory card that would come much later on and one game. I remember the guy showing me the 6 games to choose from the ones I can remember were This game, Barnyard, Star Fox Adventures and 3 others I can't think of but the two that I was struggling with choosing was SFA and 1080 and decided with the sport because of one thing if I had chosen SFA every time i turned off the game and back on i would have to start over from the start where as with this game i had and could do way more stuff.
Never knew that, but for some reason I did started to feel the urge to play it again recently XD. I still have the silverstorm version in my small jap collection .

Honestly, the graphics still hold up. Nintendo could just straight port this to the Switch in 1080p60 and I'd buy it immediately.

Happy 20th anniversary 1080 Avalanche (November/December 2003 - November/December 2023) and in Japan (March 2004 - March 2024).
