- In this video, I tie up some loose ends and get the RM250 off of my to do list. After completing the engine rebuild I went to adjust the Idle, the original plastic screw Snapped. Rather than sourcing a new one I decided to make one then and there as I had some brass stock on hand.
I also had a crack at trying some new filming and editing techniques, let me know what you think down in the comment section.
The V-twin build videos will resume, I've got a bunch of footage that needs editing and I'll get that sorted in the not too distant future. But as we all know, good things take time.

Nice chilled pace. Your video chops are progressing rapidly. Respect.
@RotarySMP: Thank you so much for recommending me this channel! I love to see the progression of video and editing quality and ambition of the projects undertaken!
Great job. A lathe is such a good tool 😊

If you want to get some donations for a knurling tool, just ask and I'll send something 😂
If you would be so kind, that would be much appreciated. Maybe it would have looked click spring quality with a proper knurl.
I’ll add an updated email address to the about section for the channel or you can message me through my instagram account linked to this channel. Either either works 👌
@@OddsandEndsMachining No problem at all. I don't have an Instagram account, but I'd love to support such a great channel so please do add a PayPal email.
The idle adjuster seems unusually long compared to the bikes I've worked on, is it just to make it more accessible to adjust by hand or does it go a long way into the carb body?
@@ferrumignis good observation. I did make it 3mm longer than stock as it was hard to reach in and adjust as it almost bottomed out.
Also the email is updated. Thanks for the support it is definitely appreciated.
@@OddsandEndsMachining Thanks, donation made 👍 BTW have you seen (or maybe were inspired by) the multicylinder engine conversions done by Le Dan on his channel?
@@ferrumignis thank you. I’ve seen his work and he does some amazing things with the tools he has. His videos are definitely more streamlined and he gets his projects done in what’s seems like a whole lot less time than me 😂
