    Question from a lifelong landlubber... Why is the stern line not attached to the dock side of the boat? Isn't it a trip hazard going across the swim platform?

    • @EastCoastYachtSales
      @EastCoastYachtSales  14 дней назад +1

      Two key things. First is the angle of the line relative to the dock matters. The goal is to have the line suck the transom into the dock. When using dock side of the boat cleat the line can be angled more up/down rather than side to side. Which results in the transom floating away from the dock easier.
      Second is line length. You want the line to be able to stretch while under load. The long the line the more stretch you get out of the line. If you use the boats cleat closest to the dock the stern line can be very sort.
      Thanks for the comment!

    So plussed you are carrying Targas now. It means more Targa videos!! If I may sneak in a suggestion, why not a video showing the galley being used. Never see those from anyone but there's a galley in every boat. Even their smallest Targa has a flip up galley station. Anyways, cheers good luck with the Targas.

      So happy to hear your enthusiasm for Targa! We are so excited. Love the idea about a video on the galley being used, we'll see what we can do to incorporate that into a future video. Thanks for watching and reaching out!

    Why don't Targa or Sargo offer outboard options? The 300hp OXE or COX types of diesel would work well.

      They do offer outboards for their models up to 32’. No diesel outboards yet, they aren’t ready for prime time.

    The use of joystick is cheating, everyone can do that.
    In a video with this title, you should dock manually.

      Totally understand what you’re saying. We actually wanted to showcase that with joystick everyone can dock the boat because it makes docking so easy. Docking can be stressful and the joystick can put all that at ease.

      no such thing as cheating: a safe, stress-free docking procedure is the order of the day.
