The fact that you even upload during these hard times says a lot. Thank you for not leaving us alone during these times.
No problem :)
@@AQUAHOLIC : Nick, I enjoyed this tour. I'm from Helsinki originally so I always enjoy seeing Finnish boats. Yes, you're correct Finns are very practical. For example, that interior table support can double as a stripper pole when the table isn't in use. 😄
Those Botnia folks sure know how to Finnish a boat. Puns aside, my favorite feature is the Fly Bridge - THAT'S clever. But the clever just starts at the top and runs right through the vessel with a "hidden" galley, a lounge that converts to a dinning room via 'the table from above'. The helm has its own set of pleasant surprises plus the double cabins (at opposite ends of the boat) with a spacious head / shower - ALL on a 32 footer. Surprisingly clever. Thanks for sharing, Nick
I like these ‘purpose built’ boats that are not meant to be for show but to be practical
True, yet its prices is up there with the show boats sadly.
The sort of boat that doesn't turn heads but has a real wow factor inside. Really useful and could imagine running one for years... time to save up
have sailed 2 diff lenght, they are not that great, cold, noice and door vener so thin they break to easily, toilet so small one have to go backwards in, that in 42 feet long boat.
See, now that is the beauty of having a boat that does not look like everything else on the water. It turns heads. Some boats turn heads because they are nothing but floating bling. Out of style in a few years. Boats like this stay in style, & hold their value, for years to come. If I was shopping I would not buy one. Too many levels for starters. I have an Albin 32+2. Another unusual looking boat. All one level cabin & a true, pull the curtain, shower stall for starters.
And the table even doubles as a pole for a pole dancer, very practically indeed!
I was thinking the same thing. Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking that too XD
That was my thought too😁
Son of a biscuit I thought the same lol
It’s like the “funkis” boat. Which is short for functionalism, an architectural style that was popular in the Nordic countries in the 40-60s. The inside here kinda reminds me of my grandparents old house from the 50s. Very clean with a sprinkle of quality wood details.
This one screams craftsmanship, everything you touched seemed nicely made with weight, not a luxury boat by any means but I think this kind of boat will really suit the purists, no extras keeping simple functional with exceptional quality, I love these kind of boats, thanks for the video Nick, cheers !
💯% agree. Amazing craftsmanship.
Saw one of these Targa type boats when we were in Devon,, 2019, remember when we had holidays?? It was about 1/2 mile off the coast going through a swell in windy conditions like a hot knife through butter. Well impressed, whilst a couple of other cruisers and sail boats were taking it a bit easier. Deffo a 4x4 foe the seas.
Wasn’t expecting to at the start but I liked this boat! Anyone else think stripper pole? 🤣. Great work Nick 👍🏻
Love all the different styles of boats. The smaller boats often seen to have more ingenious design solutions...
i had one of these, albeit the 30' model with open cockpit forward,
I had twin 275hp engines and she flew.
Very practical, no canopies to fiddle with as Nick pointed out, and the best things of all were the walkaround decks, and twin sliding doors in the pilothouse, meaning access was better than just about any other boat.
If I lived nearer the coast I would have one again, completely brilliant range of boats.
And good support from Wessex Marine the dealers in Poole.
I hear nothing but praise for Wessex
That’s a really useable, functional boat. Particularly like the rear cabin and heads. Basic but really cosy looking. Love it.
I just love the straight-up functionality of the Scandinavian boats. Like anything else they do, it's all about function without forgetting they're there for people. Fantastic!
Targa is not Scandinavian boat. It is Finnish.
@@SUBTT67 My apologies. I stand corrected.
6:46 happy wave. I love seeing these reviews, Nick. I think we all do.
Thank you 🙂
Can’t complain about a boat that has a stripper pole that turns into a dinner table.
That headline made me go ooohhhh, I really like these.
Love the foam cleaning pads being used as a lid damper for the hob.
These Targas really are the key boats for living here in the Finnish archipelago, so useful, not afraid of some waves and can anchor ANYWHERE
Went onboard this at the last Southampton boat show, was so impressed, for me thought it was the best boat at the show. Nice tour as always Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh dear Nick, you’re leading me astray again. I was busy cleaning up, sat down for a 5 minute break and drink and get notification that you’d uploaded. Well, I’d be rude to ignore you wouldn’t I? Never mind, the kitchen floor can wait to be swept and steamed.
I like your thinking! 😃
The dials at 4:04 Pure class.
@@alias19 I missed that. :-) (So did Nick. lol )
Kind of reminds me of myself. Not the prettiest of the bunch, but eminently practical and can get the job done🤔
I was surprised how interesting the video was, at first glance the boat looks abit dull. Nice helm position and accommodation, it's a retirement boat.. with sports boat performance stats. Good sunday viewing cheers Nick 👍
OMG I’m excited for this one! Hits 👍 before even watching :)
I love this kind of boat, so much placed in so little area, functional and still very good looking.
That has to be my new favourite boat. 👍🏻
Another grey Sunday afternoon... Oooo Nick’s done a video AND it’s a Botnia AND I’ve got tea n flapjack. Sorted.
Perfect!
I live for the mirror finger waggles, Nick! Another great video -- this boat is beautiful!
Love the old style gauges!
Really looking forward to seeing reviews of the new Sunseekers and Princesses this year.
Me too!
Another interesting and quality video Nick 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Absolutely love this boat, looks great for UK waters. Thanks for this!
Glad you liked it!
it’s like they shrunk a huge fishing vessel. Love this little buggah! I think for this money you get a lot of little big ship stuff. thanks Nick!
Superb, looking at your boat reviews has become my bedtime viewing!👍
Glad you like them!
Great for fishing. Thank you Nick.
Glad you enjoyed it
The Bonita 32 with comfort fore cabin is a very practical boat if you lived on a island and needed it for main transport to main land and if weather kicks up and not advisable to go back to island home you could stay on this till weather gets better. Very nice indeed.
The Botnia Targa 32 with cfc is my absolute dreamboat. What a beautiful thing!
If I ever exchange my sailboat for a motor yacht, Botnia may be getting a call. I like Princesses, but if your use-case isn't a cruise in the med, something like this is much more useful.
I've noticed you have been doing quite a lot of affordable boat tours, like it Nick
LOL - affordable, can anyone lend me the other £290k?! I jest of course, compared to an X95 it's very affordable! A very nice boat.
Yeah... affordable. That's the main reason I watch this channel 😀
Yep, that'd do nicely and relatively affordable too. I could happily spend a week or two exploring our coastline.
Thanks Nick.
Sat waiting for the Super Bowl to start with a bottle of wine. What to do... what to do........I know... let's watch an Aquaholic video... Thanks for posting another great video Nick. Sundays are better being an Aquaholic.
Enjoy!
Very interesting and quirky vessel Nick. Can tell it's built to thrive in harsher Nordic conditions without totally sacrificing comfort.
I love the botnia boats they remind me of a mini Noordhavin, a great boat very utilitarian. Great review Nick 👍
Absolutely love this boat, not overly large so mega manageable, great accommodation and it’s whizzy quick 👍
Very nice, practical boat, like it. Thanks Nick!
Glad you like it!
One of the best 32-footers I have ever seen.
The littlest little ship there is, really cool
That is the such a cool looking boat. I didn't know there was heads and beds in the back there. Love the solutions! Love this channel!
Thanks for another top notch tour 👍
Every time I see you tour a Botnia it makes me want to move to Scandinavia, buy one and start anchoring off remote small islands in any weather! Sounds superb 😁
this is my dream boat!
Cute boat. It reminds me of a Tug Boat.
....but does 40knots
Hi Nick. Looks like you have the whole range lined up. Sleeping for up to 5. Very practical and useable, economical and fast. Whats not to like. Botnia created a seaworthy safe boat with tons of option. Great walkthrough tour thanks 😊
Love that dark seating - looks very sharp with white and beautiful wood.
Love these kinds of boats. Function over form, any day!
This is my preferred style of vessel. Functionality over appearance. Still has a stylish form anyway.
I've lived in Finland for some 7 years, so I know how practical things are there. As in all the Northern countries in fact. That's a beautiful boat! I'd prefer it any day over some of those posh yachts to be honest
Pilot house boats not normally my thing, but thats a nice boat, can see so use able, thanks Nick. 👍🏻🛥
Perfect for our current weather, although 'HMS Protector' could be handy this week!
HMS Protector sounds like its tender dinghies are Ribbed and The Tickler.
its not a boat that catches the eye and says BUY ME like a Sunseeker or like, but it's amazing. And the price screams buy me!! Love it.
If I lived in Rhodes (etc.) I'd buy a typical lounger harbour queen. Since I ACTUALLY live on the west coast of Scotland... this is so much better. Take it out to sea to fish. But also in and out of the jagged coastline, local islands, up into lochs, and the ability to get to shore without a tender or a marina...
"Now, these fellows here look like rocket launchers, but they're actually fender holders." Still chuckling on that one. Good description, though. Thanks, Nick! Nice boat.
Love it, this is what a boat should be! Thanks for taking us along Nick!!
Glad you enjoyed it
A very pratical, no nonescense, simple boat.
I liked it.
Pretty practical pottering on these. I imagine they would need to be if you use them like you would use a car. Great tour, thank you 👍
Thanks for watching!
I am not usually a fan of 30'ish boats... but I really like this one.
Wonderful Boat Nick Sir... Compact and have easy to access... Looking great too Sir.. God bless you
I am shocked and amazed - at how much I love this "please use me" boat!
Interesting machine! Again, it’s not what I need, but I’d watch an Aquaholic tour of a rowboat, both because Nick does a great job, and because it would be a unique one, or we wouldn’t be seeing it. Having said that, this is a very practical machine. I like it.
Love this. Super practical, fast and a looker.
Me encantan tus videos muchas gracias por la ayuda ya que viendolos puedo disipar este stress por encierro ...lo disfruto mucho ...
These boats are amazing! If your house in on an island in Scandinavia, this is your commuter tool that will get you to work on time no matter what the weather is like! A real boat and NOT a dock queen for swimwear models.
With Scandinavian fuel prices and taxes; you'll spend more getting to and from work, than you take home working.........
The "commuter boat" moniker for these, is realistically more about weekly commuting (boat price inflation have rendered even that less realistic). Which is not entirely unheard of in some parts of Scandinavia. An apartment, or work accommodation (or I suppose just the boat for the true enthusiasts...) during the week. Weekends spent in a quieter spot with less than ideal access by car.
For actual day commuting in a larger boat: A light, very narrow, low powered displacement hull is much more sensible. Not a 600hp ocean bashing rocket. The new Loxo being perhaps the best current representative among production boats. At least on the larger, more full featured and luxurious end.
Very neat! I’d be interested to see what the larger boats of this ethos look like.
Thanks for the tour!
37 is on his channel👍
And the 46
@@cookiemonster2299 thank you!
@@AQUAHOLIC thank you!
Thought for a second you had forgotten to give us the mirror wave Nick!
Interesting boat this, been some nice variety lately, each thoroughly enjoyable, keep them coming 👍🏻
Very popular model and brand in Norway. Great video again Nick.!
Many thanks!
Love it, i could imagine myself on that, that's a proper boat.
Love these, too🙂
I really would like to see Targas on heavy seas.
Go look
💯Definitely yes would love to be in this in the ruffest of seas
ruclips.net/video/nuPECvGXOqQ/видео.html
Great video yet again Nick. Can’t wait for the next one!!
Coming soon!
Great boat, great tour thanks . . . AND Nick, I especially like the look of the "low profile" socks with your boat shoes . . . A right proper English Gentleman's look Mate 😎
Great to see you reviewing these 4x4’s of the sea Nick. More please!
Such a cool boat!
Very well laid out boat. I like the teak and deep blue combo.
TONKA boat, the little boat that could, brilliant. Excellent tour of a lovely boat with massive ability.
Thank you, take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍⛴🛳☠🛥🚤🏴☠️⛵🚢⚓😎
Love the sponge holders on the hob…
These are the boats that the professionals buy. Master mariners, ships engineers and people like that. In Finland the season for boating is short, unless your boat is one of these. These can be used up until there is ice, and quite comfortably. And you can always get back on time, no matter what the weather is like. This 32 would be my choice, up here in the north that is a very practical size. Good review, you seem to know your boats.
Very clever little boat! I love the versatility! Great job, as always nick!!
Thank you!
That's a lovely little boat, no pretention at all just function.
Loved this one. Im really enjoying the more affordable... Ish boats.
What I liked most about this boat was that it came in the 'poledancing edition'. Did miss the disco sphere though... 😂
LOL.. Table or pole dancing...
I guess a lot of commentators will be expecting a table on the pole the next time they go to their favourite club 🤣😂😭.
Like this one a lot, very practical and quick by the sounds of it, cheers.👍
4:10 This anti-vibration system works perfectly!! You should endorse that brand!!!!!!
5:45 and when you don't use the table you can practice the pole dance!
(6:45 Hi Nick!!!! Sorry for my terrible humor! I know it could ruin the day!!! LoL )
I can't lie, the first thing that came to my mind was pole dancing 😂
This is my favourite boat so far. Absolutely love it. Off to buy a lottery ticket 😎
Good luck!
absolutely marvelous practical boat >>>>>big time thumbs up
What a stunning boat
Can’t wait for the pandemic to be over so you can get back to reviewing super yachts.
Absolutely!!
very nice and very practical boat my only gripe is no head for the forward cabin bit of a trek for midnight maneuvers
I just love your channel. Big boats and little boats alike, thoroughly explored and explained, without much extra fluff. Just excellent. Well done, sir. And thank you. :)
Thank you for watching! :)
I think I love this boat.
A Few Thoughts:
First of all... The Fins build an incredibly well crafted vessel.
As one approaches the boat, she looks like she'd be awfully cramped, what with such generous bulwarks and sturdy-as-hell rails. Then you get aboard... Stunning. And all that in a faster-than-she-looks comfy weekender...!
Love the classic analog instrumentation. Splendid craftsmanship throughout. Brilliant crockery storage. Not an inch wasted. One must bear in mind she's a 32 footer!
Not one, but TWO cabins suitable for 2 adults each... What a perfect weekender...! Dammit, no TV Nick...! (Insert frowny face here)
All this and the girl will do 40 friggin' knots. And cruise at 30...!
Brilliant tour as usual Mr. B...! Cheers mate!
Dream boat love the ‘defender style’ and the speed!
Seriously, trust this man! You won´t regret it.
