      love that!!! I got mine right before i graduated high school with 155k miles... i am so happy this car was so unreliable. It gave me the best bonding opportunity with my dad as we both struggled to understand these cars lol. best of luck with pulling the motor!

      @@aerogarage Exactly that. My son is 18. We bought 2008 R56 with 56k miles, but timing was bad and it destroyed a thing or 2.

    Great content!! Do you know if the catch cans are also necessary to a N18 engine?

    • @aerogarage
      @aerogarage  2 месяца назад

      always encouraged. i believe n18s also have PCV issues so i would say it would be worth doing

    How hard was it to install both of your catch cans. I feel like it would be a pain because of how little room there is on these guys.

    • @aerogarage
      @aerogarage  2 месяца назад

      it was involved but it wasnt difficult, you need extra planning and hosing to make it all work cleanly.

      How do you do the one on the rear pass side as it has that diaphragm thing

    • @RhynoE28
      @RhynoE28 Месяц назад

      @@hernandezvlog1939most people will heat the plastic breather hose and remove the clips from it and install them on the new hoses to catch can. Also you'll need a hose strong enough when warm to not collapse on itself. And he didn't mention it but a direct port Injection meth kit you'll only need one catch can. I preferred the meth kit as you don't actually need a tune if you get the one with the boost controller spray nozzle. If you do decide to get a tune it will be important to never run out and drive with an empty tank otherwise no tune doesn't matter if you run dry. I daily my R56 and get about 4 days worth of I drive like a teenager taking a driving test to get my license. Although sometimes it's hard to not want to do a pull on the highway here and there. Lol

    The four spots have made any pedestrian safety systems totally redundant. I'm surprised if it will pass safety inspections like that.
    Nice mods though. Best r56 mod is to buy an r50, lol
