Just attempted this technique. I have layers and medium length hair so the twisting was hard, hopefully it isn't a complete fail in the morning. Fingers crossed.

It was pretty good, the curls were a little too big in the beginning but they mellowed out a bit and ended up looking really good.

+anjini amin yes you can but I suggest to do it only if you have thick voluminous hair.. otherwise the waves will be too crimpy and even a little frizzy but give it try :)

Will this still work if I blow dry the twist instead of leaving it overnight?
it may work but it also might give you more frizz.. try it by pointing the blow dryer downwards :)

yes its supposed to slightly damp or 90% dry!

Have you tried braiding the end versus twisting? Definitely trying this out tonight! My hair is thick and I sleep on my side, so everything else I've tried usually ends up with my hair still being damp or a frizz ball!
+Josette Wilsey I have tried it but I prefer the finish of twists than braids in my hair! Try damping your hair and then leaving it on overnight.. so by the time you open the curls they won't be frizzy or damp :)

Those it work if you already have curly hair, but you want the curls to be more defined instead of a frizzy mess?
My hair is not curly.. it has more of a waxy texture but also has a lot of frizz and this definitely controls that frizz so try it.. I think it should work for your hair type too :)

yes you can but don't twist the bun too much.. then curls won't come out nice I've tried :(
