Tips you weren't told :
1) When they say add a piece of hair they mean add it in the three pieces you are already holding
2) Breathe , I know it's kind of weird but if you take a moment to relax so you can rest your hands in between and take a few deep breaths it will be much much easier
3) if you attempt to do the braid with wet hair and then dry them when you have finished it will be a lot easier
4) It is obvious but not everyone does it , looking at a mirror makes it ten times easier
5) try braiding someone else's hair before attemting to do yours because it takes time to perfect it and doing it on your own hair is way more difficult

trumansoph get highlights! It helps. I have naturally dark brown curly hair. Hairstyles tend to get lost in the texture and the color. I found that getting highlights helps to add more dimension to my hair.

Number one two dutch braids isn't a quick and easy hairstyles and when you've got black hair like mine all then you can't even see the plaits LOL
Sana Maqsood with practice it turns out to be super quick and easy (mine take 8 mins at max) , my hair is “black” (technically brown but only when the light hits it right) but i still do it because it still looks cute and you can see the braid texture and such. so don’t let it discourage you from trying out different styles!
