    Lmao, right when you were saying the sides werent symmetrical, i was thinking "who cares, you can only see 1 side at a time." Then you said the same thing.
    The body looks great. Good job and thanks for the tutorial.

      And when i drive 200kmph+ you dont see it :P
      That is why i used this 1, 2, 3 & 6mm tape. It makes making lines much easier! The trick it to apply it without gaps at the border of the tape so no paint will go under, and taking it of slowly after the paint is half dry/wet (thats how i did it)

      Thank you! I am also happy with the result. Now i am planning to paint a GT body for the Limitless but its hard to think of a nice collor sceme. Atleast i have cutted the body and it fits!

      It took me a long time to place all the marking tape. Including the paintjob it took me arround 10hours in total.
      The trick it so take you time especially woth the tape, as long as you have more tape you can do it over and over again. When painting starts its permanent. This was my 4th paintjob so its not like i am a seasoned pro.

    Good job! But how did you paint the red lines? Did you just remove the tapes and then spray the red over it? I'm assuming the red will not appear on the painted area. And did you use the stock stickers from Arrma to cover the windshield? Can't see from the video clearly.

      @@glObOfad365 Thank you!
      I did not use the original masking tape. For some reason i never get it on right... so i use 18mm tape in miltiple lines and cutted it into the windows shape once it is applied to the body.
      When painting different collors you want to give the paint some time to dry, at room temperature 15 minutes is ok to apply another layer.
      If you want the previous layer not to interfere with the one you are currently laying the best thing to do is to use a "closing" layer. For example, i did 3 layers of silver for the whole body and closed it off with black (i believe 2 layers).
      Next to the red (its purple/pink) i made white line. i put the white first in 2 layers and that painted it red. The red shines throu the white making it a very light red.

    I got a question let’s say right some how my fingers pulled on the thin layer of plastic the body came with would I still be able to paint it or did I sadly say mess that up ?

    • @remborc
      @remborc  Год назад +1

      Spray paint creates mist that flows everywere and will come into contact with the outside of the body. The this plastic foil protects the outside of the body from this. after painting you peel it off.
      -If you only took a small piece off you can try and put it back
      -u can use tape to cover the small piece that can off
      -if all the foil is off you can use microwave plastic foil to re-cover the body as good as possible.
      Important is, is that the outside are stuck to the body so paint will not get under the foil or tape.
      Good luck!

      @@remborc ok sounds good 👍 I thoughtI messed up 😂

    • @remborc
      @remborc  Год назад +1

      @@kryptonitelegacy4050 Its not all that bad :P
      Watch out fror scratches on the outside, cut your body and make body post holes before painting, paint outside (preferbly with no wind and with no air pollution like dust), dont paint below 15°C because the paint will not dry correctly. (and all the tips from the video!)
      I still havent found a good way to tale the paint of the body without damaging the body, so painting is quite permanent.
      And dont forget that you first, second and even third body wont be perfect. This was my fith body (something like that) and it still had hair from my cat in it.....Cleaned it 3 times! But i love my cat so its ok. And the tape was not covering all the small corners. But i must say that this was the most difficult paintjob that i did with all the lines and different collors.
      What body are you going to paint?
      Good luck!! And enjoy!
