Sublime vidéo Raz, why don't you shorten the wires on the ESC on your speed run cars to make it even more tidier? Would it have an effect on the power coming from the batteries to the ESC "to many amperes" You're going to get the record very soon ❤️ much love❤️

You could go with a different finish or style of red. Camo... or mix some Matt and gloss into the design and have some glossy stripes over a matt body or something.
I’d love to see a video where you take the power train from this car and put it in a bone stock chassis and slowly work up to see at what speed it fails without all the upgrades

I just got my Limitless V2 today. Few questions: According to Earl Moorhead, the XLX2 doesn’t fit correctly under the stock body (rubs the body), also the 2028 motor doesn’t fit with the stick motor mount. I’m going to start ordering all the electronics for my build and just want to know if these statements are true.

Thanks for the video I follow your installation and bought all part’s needed But The 2028 1700kv motor not fit for my arrma v2 limitless is there any modifications for the motor mount ? I can not install the motor with the screws it is not the correct place
This was my question as well. I finally have everything I need to make my infraction twin motors and REALLY want a perfect pass launch control so I can get consistency between runs.

Raz I have followed you for awhile now and love your videos I have a question i am trying build my arrma limitless v2 like yours however the motor mounting plate that comes with the kit will not line up with the same motor and esc combo that you said to use what is the part number for the correct motor mounting plate
It needs a turbo booster, that's fast Raz awesome content man, how big of a weight difference is there between the stock plastic and all this upgrade parts.??
Hello Raz. It's beautiful video. I want to buy Limitless V2 also, but for another purpose. I really like how it is looks and try to change speed basher to race car. I know, that will not be fastest in technical parts of the track, but i want to try. Only 4S, light motor, 2x2S light packs, SP racing soft tires and we will see :-)

What size spur & pinion? I have a Limitless roller/slider on the way. I haven’t decided on my choice of CASTLE motor yet. It will probably be the 1721/2400 or the 2028/1100 with the XLX2. For better or worse, all of my GT’s have one or the other or before the 1721, the 1717/1650. I have never used motors or ESC’c other than CASTLE. Joe Ford at CASTLE has always come through for me despite me being a constant pain in the ass. I am NEVER going to be able to go anywhere near 200, 175 mph, but I like to make all my builds the best I can. I have been leaning toward the 1721 & anticipating this, I have a center diff set with a 46T on it’s way. PLEASE suggest a pinion size for me to start out with. BTW, practically every GT I have is RED…always with some black. Hope to hear back from you.
Hi Raz. I've been watching your videos for some time now, and enjoying them alot. I also learned alot from you. But there is a question that is allways popping in the back of my mind: why are you building all your platforms by getting a new and complete Arrma Infraction or Limitless, then tearing it appart, and throwing away 90% of the parts and replacing them with custom parts? I mean, if you were to buy all those new parts and just assemble them, wouldn't it be alot cheaper? Best of luck with the 205 mile speed record, i'm sure you will beat it eventually!
I'm curious if the xlx2 hits/rubs the body the way it's mounted? Someone else was saying it did and that it caused the body to distort on that side. You are super detail oriented and didn't mention it so I'm assuming it wasn't an issue with your build?
That’s the question I had for him too. My body fan hits the body. I had double sided tape as well as screws holding the motor. Took off the tape but that did nothing. The only thing Raz may have done off camera is cut the box and servo mount off the thing and hard mount the motor onto the chassis with dual lock to lower it. Also the original arrma ad for the v2 on the utube has a xlx2 in it. Wonder what they did. Hope you figure it out to mate.
@@Captinfun101 I don't have the car but might in the future. Always good to find out what you can. The guy I saw that said it was hitting took his servo/esc box out and said it still hit the body.

Have you tried to heat the set screw with a pointy soldering iron tip the tip holding in the screw I found same result but no colouring distortion

There is more money to make selling the stock unused parts on Ebay. Many people buy whole rc toys, split them and sell the parts.
