Just a tip, putting 2 set screws 180 degrees from each other actually does more harm than good. One will actually hold better, if you really want to use 2 you need to put them 90 degrees from each other.
Awesome vid, that's how I use saga gears on the stock spool. I have the v1 limitless, did the total tooth count for the v2 motor mount change? Heck, I can't even remember the Max total tooth count for the v1 is lol.
Will i be able to still revert back to the original 39 tooth spur/spool for speedruns or does this modification mean the shaft cant accept the original spool. I assume any brand 46 or 50 etc. Pinion will work for this? Thanks for your help@@RCexplained
Please help---So basically I had recently bought one of these Spools for my Arrma felony and I know this comes from the V2 limitless. Now when I have purchased this type of spool I had gotten the stock two driveshafts that come with the v2 limitless.. further on I tried installing this setup onto my Arrma felony thinking it would fit but it doesn’t the center drive shafts are either too short or make this drive shaft not align correctly with the motor mount. Please help if possible I would like to know why they won’t fit case I would assume the stock v2 limitless drive shaft should fit since they both are short and for the rear of the spool there its longer, so I just wanna know what I need to buy maybe just confused
The stock limitless shafts on the v1 and v2 are different and not interchangeable without significant modification. Why not get the shafts specific for your model?
you are using 17 series mottor size, I'm using 20 series and I bought several gears and they don't even touchig each other, lastly I bought 39T pinion gear with stock 39T spur, This is absolutely SHIT
@@RCexplained I saw that but they didn’t mention about motor size also the parts in Europe is very limited, now i’m using spur gear also for pinion, I mean two spur same size gear 39/39
great job an putting the set screws works great an keep the good upgrades comeing an great videos too thank you my friend
Thanks for the comment!

Thanks aton this video help alot👍
Glad to hear it!
Awesome video very informative brotha🤙🤙🤙
Thank you!
So what's the largest gear you can go on center diff?
what is the smallest pinion that would work with a 46t spool?
Subtract 46 from the required minimum total teeth. This will equal the smallest pinion that would work.
So this would work with a hobby wing 5287 motor?

what the part number of the spur gear and rear dog bone
So i can install that 45t as the center using the stock existing 8mm centershaft?
Yes. I'm doing exactly that right now.

The manual covers gears that will work. You can also swap out the spur. There may also be something in there about the larger motor size.

We never saw this car run, ?
You could have gone with 1100kv, 39/34 if its just 100mph your tryna achieve.
Check out the videos of it running.
