People hating on this for cost needs to wake up to the cost of basic drones with these features... even small ones will cross 400... and inverted flight very few rc helicopters coming with that for this price range that I have found.

Not for nothing, Flite Test went to bat for us against the FAA.
I have the Flywing fw450 prolly had it for over a year. It’s been fantastic and it has the same features as this. Love it for the price point.
Anyone might be able to fly it but only the well to do can afford it.

@Stevonoles1 never owned an iPhone. I've never considered people who owned one to have a whole lot of sense when it comes to value either.
When I was living down in Pueblo Colorado while the us army from Ft Carson was training the troops in Lu Junta I saw a Apache AH-64 drone flying in formation with other Apache helicopters but it was 1/3rd the size of its counterpart.. It had everything the Apache had except a cockpit and a pilot it was being flown remotely!

The Huey has No GPS
8 minutes flight time but its nice that the battery pops right in to small though like the bigger scale like flywing bell 14 minutes flight time on that one nice vid though

Simi semetrical blades, changes the lift dyhedral of the Rotor disk, so that inverted is almost the same flight envelope as normal upright flight.
The CPU + GPS flight program allows for smooth transition from normal to inverted flight without the Pilot having to maneuver the Aircraft.

I agree with those who have spent the many hours needed to become adept in a skill or field of education, where this can range from cabinet making to theoretical mathematics. The attitude they have is disdain for pretense, not jealousy that requires wanting to be like the other, which in this case is one without a real skill.
The joy that comes from success is due to the journey or path of hard work that led to it, not the destination by itself. When anyone can take credit thru asking an A.I. to write a novel for them, there is either nothing to be proud of or it's been so severely devalued that it's like money having little to no value due to hyperinflation.
If you want the thrill of the Toy, fine, but don't conflate this with the thrill of having on your own succeeded at having become proficient with what can only be described as challenging.

Does this come with any type of remote ID installed?
You’d have to contact the FAA to ask about this particular product specifically since they would like to tell us what to do regarding toys. Unfortunately, we have and are doing what they’ve asked of us. We absolutely can’t speak for the government and certainly won’t. Remember too, that they now consider “likes” on Facebook as monetary growth or “commercial growth” so anyone uploading content to social media at all, even without direct financial compensation would be required to abide by their current “107” ruling. I often wonder why the car speeding in front of my house going 60mph in a 25 is allowed to get away with that but there’s actually people being paid a lot of our tax dollars to make sure my plastic toys and foam toys are being regulated. 🤔🤷♂️😢💯⚓️

When I was a kid we couldn't afford anything I always loved helicopter so one Christmas my dad got my apache model man I put it all together that same night I would have fantasize about making it RC even just put a motor to make it look real this thing is too cool 😭😭😭 talk about heart string lol

I hear you loud and clear, honestly but I call my sons HotWheel cars “cars” even though they are not but only resemble them. Same with my daughters Barbies, as they aren’t real people, but resemble them. This is modeled after a helicopter, though it has some technology from drones it is indeed a Helicopter 😁💯👍😎⚓️

600 bucks is not well under 1k. Way to much for a little helicopter like that.
Hey, we don’t say this was cheap by any means. In fact, that’s about the one big down side to it.. the price. However I do think $600 is well under $1,000 since it is nearly half of that number. The good news: we are going to feature another helicopter soon that is half the price of this one and just about as cool and functional! 👍💯😎⚓️

I wish he would fly a real multirotor/ quad copter on this channel and not the bullshit DJI drones. DJI is nothing compared to a real FPV quad.

You need to fly more without the self level and gps hold, if you really want to learn how to fly helicopters. You're using the electronics as a crutch.
