Ferrari F2004 F1 V10 ex Schumacher EXTREME Sound at Monza Circuit!!

  • I know, I know: same track and the same screaming V10 engine. I really can't get enough of this. But this time the video is about a marvellous Ferrari F2004 F1 cars (chassis number 234, which was driven and won 5 races with Michael Schumacher back in the days) driven pretty fast at Monza Circuit during a Ferrari F1 Clienti event.
    It's the first time I recorded this car at Monza but I had the pleasure to see it for the first time two years ago during the Finali Mondiali at Mugello Circuit and I was quite impressed by how fast the owner/driver of this beauty was pushing on track.
    The F2004 is powered by a 3.0-litre V10 engine which is able to produce 865 bhp at 18.300 rpm on a car that weighs only 605 kgs.
    Hear it in action on the Italian track during a 2 days event characterized by a wet morning session on the first day and 3 dry ones.

      @NoNoNoNii I agree a modern 3.0 v10 with a modern transmission and aero. The tires they used during the v10 era I would think are more superior, for 1 they were wider and they also had 2 companies competing. And with the pirellis they use now they actually started at horrible in purpose then made then more grippy to their liking but not the best they can make. And dam this an old Post.

    I'll never forget riding on a tram heading towards the 2002 Australian Grand Prix, even from hundred of metres away, in an enclosed tram, the sheer volume of sound of the F1 cars penetrating through the sealed windows and doors was amazing. Once you got to the track, the sound was all-encompassing, you didn't just hear it, you felt it with every part of your body, every aspect of the engine, from the induction, to the exhaust was encompassing, and nothing that can be replicated from a video/recording - I am so thankful that I was fortunate enough to experience this, as it appears that the latest generation of F1 is a little lacking...

      I guess the other rules you mentioned sucked too.
      I first watched F1 in the early 2000's and pretty much what you said about the 'procession races, Tilkendrome circuits, and 2 people winning every race' was there; Now, I guess it's all too apparent (especially with the hybrid-craze and the ever increasing bureaucracy)

    What a musical masterpiece this is! BTW, you're right; this driver wasn't playing around! He was driving the piss out of this fine machine.💪👏 The pull through the gears starting around 4:07 is amazing! I love how your recording starts before the car comes into view, and when it rips past... OMG!❤ What a sound and echo!😲💕👂 Thank you for this one, Bozzy! I loved it and I know the new F1 haters loved it, too.😉 Take care, my friend!🙋

      Finally home after 5 days away so I'm now able to answer to some comments ;) Thank you so much, glad you liked it! Those long shots where you can hear the car even if it's far away are probabily the main feature of my recording style ;)

    • @john90430
      @john90430 6 лет назад +9

      That main feature of your recording style, when the audio begins long before the car comes into view, and continues after the car is out of view but still audible and sustains off into the distance, is primarily why I keep coming back. Not only is your editing marvelous, but it also must take quite some recording time to get enough scenes of the car isolated on track - without other cars around. Extremely well done, sir!

    These were one of the best sounding era's, even if the racing wasn't the best. I saw the V10 cars at Silverstone a few years running, and remember running from the car park to get to my seat when the used to warm these up. The sound of these you used to feel in your stomach, and that TC sound is so raw.

      I think I'm one of the only people here that cannot stand that V10. It sounds like you put a mosquito in fast foward.
      The V12s are ok, Not much of a fan of V12 sounds in general, but I don't mind them.
      The V8s were the best in F1 in my opinion, those sounded awesome.
      Also, I've come to Actually like the V6 T, Not only are V6s my favorite type of engine, but the V6 T sound is kind of nice to listen to actually.

    • @chrischarizard4067
      @chrischarizard4067 7 лет назад +4

      Ben Dover It really was. V8s are the second coolest to me, I remember V8s and Flat 6s were the only two engines I remember hearing in my Childhood, The rest are lost and forgotten.
      V6s are my favorite engine due to how good they are competitive-wise. They really have been turning the field upside down recently, Especially after Ford's Performance with their Ecoboost Engine. Apparently they are better fuel-wise as well since Toyota's TS050 Changed to a V6 in order to improve fuel without a serious limitation in power.

    Great recording! I was at a F1 v10 race, lost my hearing for 3 days but it was worth it. There is nothing on this planet that sounds like a V10 F1 car. Multiply the one car by 20 and maybe you can imagine how loud they were. My favorite sounds were as they were approaching, then moving away, the down shifting. I lived about 20 miles from a track, and on the GP weekend we could hear the v10’s from our house. I get chills every time I see a V10 F1 video. Yours is the best one!

    I was there many times. Microphones can not catch all the sound because many times go in saturation. If car is near is difficult to ear the thunder after each downshift. If car is really far you can ear every downshift thunder but nothing compared to be there. The sound is so loud that you can feel It in your chest or in your hairs vibrating. I remember 50% of the spectators with ear protections and the other 49% bringing super quickly their hands to the ears for avoid the incredible noise. Only few stand that impressive sound, cable of making your heart race for real! It's like your instinctive animal part is scaring, the sensation is incredible. Adrenalinic
