Those diesel locos are bloody huge, are they some of the worlds largest/most powerful? I know that here in Australia up in the Pilbara region they have the worlds longest trains from the mining area. Does the US have similar trains over there?
Now in the US we have 200+ car trains here! Just depends on where you go. Around here it's about where you go, now the trains at this location are very big, 150+ cars. But the train traffic has slowed down alot here
@@mountainstaterailfanproduc8248 ok. I'm not a fan of long trains, too much can go wrong I think. If one of the cars near the back derails how does the loco engineers know about it?
@@mountainstaterailfanproduc8248 yea if the park could fix them up or the rooms above where the River Gorge bank was/is and make them into like a hotel type setting

Too bad the Park Service couldn't fix up some of the houses to be able to live again in Thurmond. People could watch these trains from the houses
It would be nice if you could rent them!

Not very professional. The man was good at saying "wow" though.
The video being "unprofessional" or the guy?
@@mountainstaterailfanproduc8248 ..The man. He obviously was unprepared to conduct the video.
