When are you guys gonna do another episode? I was hoping you guys could do one on deadpool,though I already know so much, it would be cool to see if I could learn more. Or on dr.doom and the fantastic four, or even Venom and Carnage since they are also getting a movie here in the near future.
It depends: if you're a fan of Keanu's so bad performances they're good, definitely. If you're a comic book fan you'll end up hating this movie. I've never read any Hellblazer comic book before but was well aware of the lore before watching the movie and I'm a Keanu fan so I liked it.
TheDelikizzz I thought it was good way for people to get to know the type of person that Constantine is and what kinds of stories you'll encounter. Then I'd read Constantine or watch the show for a character like the one in the movie or I'd read Hellblazer if you'd prefer a more darker version.
Too be honest, I'm kinda glad NBC cancelled the show. It's just isn't dark enough to do comics justice. I'm not talking about the supernatural horror elements, it's the gritty-ness of human cynicism that's missing. I've always imagined Constantine would've great chilling with Marty and Rust on True Detective.
Too bad the TV show is out of momentum... Coz the plot was a bit blurry in the TV series I think.. It missing something... That thing that you can find only find in the comic books...
For some weird, unknown reason, the actor from the series really reminds me of Jim Carrey.. which makes it really hard for me to take the entire plot seriously. I love Hellblazer and I can see why they casted him, but, just, no. No.

if you like those get some of the old Hellblazer comics, compared with those the New 52 Constantine is mediocre
Field Marshal Fry Hellblazer is a pretty great series. in truth, Constantine is the only other DC character I like besides GL.
Batman and Constantine. The only DC characters I've ever found interesting.

God I love that character. He's uncouth, an addict, disturbed and an unpleasant son of a bitch but I love him.
They sorta botched the ending and the new constantine makes me mourn the hellblazer with more agony
