@@THISISRISE it’s the durability a lot of players get old and washed up like Kobe he had to do so much alone at the end of his career injuries took over but with lebron playing with stars at his age it will help him last longer cause he doesn’t have the workload it’s like a cheat code but with Jordan as you can see if he would’ve ring chase and play with stars which he didn’t that’s why he was with the wizards he could’ve been a very effective player on a team with all stars

MJ played 13 season of 80 plus games, second unretirement' at 39 yr old played in 82 games started 62 w/ Wizards. Played both sides for 40 to 48 naturally.
6th Championship at 34- 35 yrs old, in under 900 games. LeFlop already gonna be 37 yrs old. If MJ wanted to make a Super Team!? Or did not 'retire' twice!? MJ would have at least 10 rings ,9 for sure. Plus he won NCAA Championship!

I'm sorry, but I disagree vehemently on michael being the goat! Check Kareem's resume... and everyone seems to forget that Jordan's first 7 years in the league the only thing he was winning during that time was scoring titles and sneaker sales! And I'm glad that the Pistons (though they're not my favorites) walked off the court without shaking his hatin' ass hand.... he and Jackson spent all week prior to that matchup complaining about the way Detroit played and then the media jumped on it as well.... they were two-time champions and were disrespected like they'd never won anything... and furthermore.... that bitch showed who he really was by denying Isiah Thomas his rightful spot on that Dream Team... by saying he wouldn't play if Isiah was on the team. That's a real bitch-ass move. So, I say what I've always said... Phuck michael jordan. And besides if one wants to judge by rings.. .then the TRUE GOAT is the Great Bill Russell... he has more rings than fingers! If it's stats then it has to be Wilt the Stilt, and then there is the Big O... averaging triple doubles before they even started keeping that stat!.... So, again... PHUCK michael jordan... and I would have no problem telling him that to his face.

Playing off ball would allow him to rest and get easy points. His defense would go up and he could rely on his teammates more to make shots because the game would flow better. @@chrisaustin22 You have an odd idea of what older is. Lebron could win 6 more championships and still not be considered better than Jordan, because Jordan played in a tougher era, never flopped, never choked like Lebron. MJ was faster, could jump higher, was stronger (for his size), could pass as well or better (averaged a triple double when he played a PG, was a better shooter, defender, shot blocker, stealer, and more clutch. MJ also didn't stick his foot in his mouth like Lebron seems to do on a regular basis. If MJ played today, he would score more. If Lebron played in Jordan's time, he would score a little less. As big and strong as Lebron is, he isn't a physical player. He wouldn't handle the contact very well that Jordan dealt with in the 90's. Lebron is top 5 for sure, but probably not even no. 2.

@@apryllemelodysuyo2072 You mean the uncontestant three that are being launched now because of the new era's lack of defense (seems like you cannot run at a player now to block the ball - not sure why). The NBA has created a shoot-friendly game. This era has no hand-checking, or forearm extension to defend.., which allows more creative dribbling (without contact). Also, today's game allows the players to have the Euro-Step (in the past it was traveling)... I can go on and on. Having said that, in no way am I saying that there are no talented players in today's game, but I believe MJ (and quite a few other legends) would be able dominate in today's NBA. It's not the players' fault, it's the game nowadays.

@@jaidamann8365 Lol, let's see if MJ can play defense in today's game hahaha. You think it is easy to play with inconsistent calls of the refs? Let's see if MJ can last chasing these quick players of today. And most of all, stop being idiot as if MJ was shooting the ball then with his guards always hand checking him and holding his hands. Hahaha. MJ was shooting the ball then without someone hitting him like what other players at that time was doing. In fact the game was changed when MJ emerged to fit his style of playing otherwise the pistons will kill him with fouls. MJ did not win with the Pistons until Pippen came. And then they changed the game less physical because to protect players like MJ otherwise his career will be shortened because of pistons nasty fouls. So stop commenting as if players during MJ's era don't have the luxury of shooting the ball without any players guarding them. They can shoot the ball freely outside but the problem is most of them cannot shoot it.

ruclips.net/video/LAr6oAKieHk/видео.html This is the MJ's highlights, watch how he can shoot and dunk the ball without anyone hitting him hard or doing that hand checking which you always say. Hand checking is only effective if the person you are guarding was stationary but if he 8s moving without the balls, using picks and agile, it is hard to do that. Stop too much idolatry. Yes MJ is GOAT but of his own era NOT this era of basketball because players of this new era are bigger, quicker , with great ball handling and great shooting inside and outside. These qualities can be seen in one players in almost all players of this new generation unlike MJs era who were very few can have these qualities that's why MJ was ahead of his contemporaries. Again, not in these era because many players of today's era are influenced by MJ, Iverson, Nowitzki, Magic, Bird and so on. Players of today evolved and learned from these great players from the past.

@@apryllemelodysuyo2072 Wow... Based on your comment, you either did not watch the NBA in the late 80s through the 90s, or you're young. Have you not heard, from other veteran NBA players comment on how easy the game is set up to allow the offense to tally points? Even a lot of the players who have had the luxury of playing in both eras have stated that game has become more shooter friendly and less defenses (I will look for references if I have time). And, have you not seen the highlights of the defensive players in the past contesting hand-checking, or using their forearms and elbows to keep the offensive player off-balance - forcing the offense to be creative under pressure (something that lacks now). Even Luka (one of today's shining stars) exclaimed that the NBA is much easier to get to your spot and score. It's not me saying this alone. This isn't just about MJ. This is about how soft they game has become. I'm through.

LeBron passes more but he isn’t a better passer. And people say LeBron is more efficient but MJ never held the ball in the back court and let time expire at the end of periods to preserve his field goal percentage like LeBron.

I truly feel there will never be anyone who can top Jordan. I watched him every chance I could. I am now 53. He was just a well rounded Player. He knew when he was having an off night.. So he assisted more and helped coach and pump them up.. When he had the hot hand, he made sure he had the ball. Just an unselfish talented individual to the core. All he wanted was to win.. And win he did! God definitely broke that mold when He made Jordan. I was blessed to see him in his prime live.. I will never forget it. Every basketball fan needs to watch his highlights.. And the off games as well to see what I am talking about. JORDAN=GOAT

Actual Defense being played, and yet, just sit and watch this and the LeBron discussion is over for those previously unaware of what the GOAT actually looks like. Only Chamberlain was this dominant.

I think it’s better to say what mj didn’t have from those greats. Mj couldn’t be contained by double teams like Kobe, he wasn’t inefficient like Westbrook, small or a poor team player like Iverson, sensitive and shirking responsibility like Durant, he didn’t blame his team, shrink in the biggest moments and play just quite good defense like LeBron.

This is why I'm thankful for things like RUclips. A lot of people today never got to watch MJ play, and they don't realize what kind of a freak he really was. With today's rules, that man would average 40-45 ppg and would have destroyed anything and everyone in his path.
