I have been extremely happy with my AD200. I just finished up my 19th senior portrait session and I have all those sessions I have yet to even come halfway dead on the battery. This light fires extremely fast when you’re not at full power. And I have yet to need full power flash with any of my clients. I use this and two Godox TT600 speed lights for everything that I have needed and connect them all with the XT1 trigger on my Nikon Z6 and I have yet to have any problems with any of them. I was looking at the new AD200 Pro and I feel that the original is so good that if I do pick up another one it will be the original. Thank you for the year in review with yours I’ve only had mine for six months and I love it.
I really love your use of off camera flash, I'd love to see you do a tutorial video on it, techniques/placement/settings etc. your pictures look great :)
I'd like to see a tutorial on how you use these. I've recently switched to Sony from Canon, already have a pair of ad200's, picked up the V1 for on camera flash and as a master controller for the ad200. Works great!
Well I tend to have a seperate bag for all lighting and controllers and mounts and that just lives in my car to be honest. With my work my car is never far off and then I just set up with the gear from the boot when needed. I have not taken one abroad for any reason yet...
It really comes down to what you want to do to shape the light. I have the godox brackets which then allows me to use a bowens mount. Lots of options then. I like to use a large parabolic which has easy umbrella pop up for quick use at weddings
Hi sir I have godox v1 and ad 200pro. My question is if I use high speed sync on both of these, how much power do I lose? And if I buy a variable ND filter, which stop number is the best option for me to shoot at day time 2-5stop or 6-9stop? I'm interested in freewell variable nd filter. Is that filter provide me better quality for shooting backlight?
I adore the way you incorporate your flash to illuminate the background of your subjects.
I love my AD200s ❤️ and great tip on that back lit shot for first dances
Hope it helps! 😁
Great channel, thanks Matt. Would love to see a tutorial from you. I look forward to it.
Thank you, will be looking in to this I think 😊

Awesome, this Just backs up what I thought
@@RotoUK oh yeah it's a great strobe light. I picked up a Glow 28inch deep parabolic softbox and what an amazing combo.

Thanks Sam, I do get asked this, I will do something!!
Just gone into a pair of ad200 along with my 580exii speed light and I’m loving them along with the xpro trigger on the r6ii
Beautiful images mate … I’ve never used flash (I am generally a street) but want to give it a go and am looking for one flash option to try … cheers …
Beautiful Job!
Thanks very much
@@RotoUK You are very welcome! Please check out my Instagram under “Floodproduction”. I have film photos from my photography class. Cheers!

Thank you 😁
would love to see you shoot & how you use the ad200.... i love mine & just picked up the ad200 pro for a silly price of £219 from toby deals.
Oh wow that's a bargain!
@@RotoUK do more videos about the ad200 and behind the scenes on your flash equipment
Yeah this little beast is powerfull on full power in 3years i never change bulb and battery
I can’t remember if I’ve asked you before but does the v350 have enough power on its own for group shots at events?
Haven't asked and I would say yes up to maybe 4-6 people but not anything bigger. I haven't tested it fully like that though...
I'd love to see how you set up your AD200 for the first dance shots. Are you using the round head or??? Thanks!
Yep just the round head the other side the couple from me. Just one for the first dance. Gives it a nice look I think :-)
@@RotoUK I agree

Yes that's a good set up with the v1, I might have to copy you on that 😊
Tutorial seems like a few people want it so I will sort something out!
Very interested to see results of your AD200 and the new V1 used together when you get the V1. Thanks
Can you tell us more about storing and travelling with these witstro...

what modifier recommend for AD200 and V1?I've got both...but missing any kind of diffuser...thanks in advance! =)

Mine is made by selens fyi

I take it you don't need a soft box when you use this round head?
