- Hello Beauties, I'm sharing an important update this week as well as charity shopping, (thrifting.) I'm finding inspiration for my still-life set-up and other interesting items too. Lovely video I really enjoyed it. I lived most my life in England, and the last 17 in America. The thrift stores in the US are not like the charity shops in England, sadly. I miss them, I am overdue for a visit home and feeling a little homesick, your videos always make me feel a little better xx

Hi Wendy ... I adored Your wander in the outdoors and spotting all the signs of Spring. In nZ we call them OP shops short for Opportunity ( love the vibes of that name) I think I have only been into 1 in the last 2 years (most of our Treasures come from them or markets , so have been "window shopping" watching others ...spotted a few Treasures in Your video . How exciting about Your Studio ...good things are worth waiting for , for sure and it makes You appreciate them all . Perfect timing really , as You are in Spring ( had a feeling it was coming) Like You said "It was the Universe working it's Magic" LOVE THAT! I'm from Australia, and here, we call charity shops, 'Op shops', which is short for 'opportunity shops'. I love op-shopping, but I've had to stop as I no longer have any space to put these little treasures. I can't wait to see your next art room. I love watching your videos! I feel grateful that you turn up as you!

Are you familiar with an American you tuber and artist Sandi Hester? You and her are so similar. She paints landscapes and birds and still lifes etc. In her home studio.

Love your treasures.The mint coloured pot and the bird book were my favorites. Opening your package with you was fun - LOVE the Chinese paint brushes. They are unique, and pretty. We have much to be grateful to the Chinese to their contribution to paper products, paints, inks, paint brushes and much more. Nice to hear about them in a positive light. Love the bouquet of roses and the garden urn, very pretty. Love hearing all of your tales. And you got to go to China too...Wow!! You and James are both amazing...you have lived a very colourful life. I have a gypsy spirit and am envious of all your travels. Believing that is ahead for me when the world opens up again. Am enjoying all of your new art and hoping to see some in Etsy when you get settled. So looking forward to seeing your art studio!!

The shopping was spellbinding, I do reselling in the U.S. but love seeing what your charity shops have across the pond...wish I could scoop it all up and bring it back with me to resell, the nice pot looks almost like celadon-nice!...this was brilliant as the American Viscountess you tuber would say😁😁☮☮👍👍

The general cost of charity shop items over here is often not so much of a bargain these days sadly. I don’t think you’d be able to make anything reselling. I love how yours have stayed low. I’m not sure whether people just got greedy here or if it’s the cost of overheads.
Yes, I see what you are saying. I would say that charity shopping has become a bit more popular these days than before, driving up prices. Gone are the days when one might be ashamed of being a second hand charity store shopper, which is good in it's own way. 🥰🥰

Your lovely and poignant dance in the beginning of your video brought a flood of tears. All your feelings so raw and obviously bittersweet about this change of studios. Really touched me. I don't think road noise and heat are "minor things" as you put it. As HSP's we are extra sensitive to noise. And heat! 🔥☀️Well I know from living in the tropics that high heat is simply debilitating!🤪🥵 No two ways about it! The little white flowers are called Monte Casino Asters. They come in a lovely lavender also. I enjoy your videos and they seem to center my soul. Thank you so much for that.

I enjoy going to the thrift store as well. I usually look for items I can use for my plants. You got yourself great things. My favorites were the calming Linden Flower tea, the flowers and the flower pot urn. I loved the little arrangement with the tiny blooms. Excited for you on your new studio. You're going to do great in making it your own. The Linden Flower tea will help along your journey. Thank you for the hugs. You always give the positives about your positions when they're not the greatest. and I admire that about you The challenges of the studio's cold when you painted and stuff with fingertipless gloves; the traffic on the other side of the wall,; the greenhouse heat in the middle of summer; they are biggies; but you find a way to move these to the back and I love that about you. A lesson for me for sure. Some times I don't comment but I do watch,. The day you ventured out by yourself and went to visit a favourite tree, then sat there in deep thought my favourite video; it's a gem. Enjoy your moving. Canada

Oh, I miss the OxFam shops. They all closed in Australia back in 2019. I have lots of beautiful little things I bought from our old local Oxfam shop.
Those flowers are so fresh and beautiful. I think the daisies are “Easter daisies”.
It was lovely joining you on your shopping trip. I love seeing glimpses of everyday life in other parts of the world. Those flowers are beautiful. One of the benefits of RUclips. Dear Wendy, I really continue enjoying your videos so much, because one way or the other you inspire me to do something that I like. Today was the charity shops. In Portugal we call them Second Hand shops and I love to visit them. Since the beginning of the Pandemic I never went to one again and I do miss it, because I always find at least one small treasure and I do like also secondhand clothes. So this week I will visit one of those shops (I have at least two of them near my house). Thank you for your lovely inspiration to our lives.♥️♥️

Today i've decided to step out from my confort zone and send you a comment 🌻 first of all congrats for the new studio, i'm sure it will be a magical place as the previous one thanks to your fairy energy! i'm not an artist in any way, but i love watching creating art and connecting with beautiful mother nature and the threes! i suffer from anxiety, panic attacks and depression, watching your videos help me to stay grounded and take care of myself first! so i've decided to start journaling and bought an adult coloring book as well 🙂

So its been my anniversary of watching you. I started watching your channel a year ago Wendy. And its been a lovely year too. You've taught me so much. Especially about art and how to relax and just enjoy the process.
As for the art room. Ive just always put it out to the universe for what I want to achieve and when its time.. it happens. Those flowers are so sweet. I love fresh cut flowers. Those little ones almost look like chamomile flowers but I didn't think they grew that tall.

I’ve waited all week for your vlog today especially since you said you had news. I’m having a cuppa with you atm. I love going to charity shops and you are right, in the USA they are thrift stores. You can find such treasures.

I love the way you arranged your flowers. The little white flowers look like. Chamomile flowers. I buy them at Trader Joe’s over here in the states they’re just so delicate.
I am very excited for your move to a new studio. It’s not good for you to have fluctuations of heat and cold and your health is so important. This will be so uplifting for you and mentally you’ll feel so much better in a real studio that already was used by a prior artist.
