I used to own the 500 and now have the 600. You’re right, the 500 is way more economical. I had over 200 miles from a tank at times. But the 600 is more fun!
fuel in Northern California is 3.99 a gallon right now and it was above 5 about a year ago. When I first learned to drive 10 years ago it was only 1.99/gal... my 95 bronco gets 10mpg
The new CBF (2009+?) is way better on fuel as it has fuel injection. Carbs = no fuel saving on engine breaking and all that other stuff thet FI improves.
That bike was my main bike before NC :D I learned with it and because I worked in school, i got to use it almost as often as i pleased (ofcourse had to buy my own gas :D)
Ugh yeah, its frustrating! I ride in Vancouver and filter generally every day, otherwise what is the point in riding in cities? I'm so jealous of the riding culture in basically the entire rest of the world... makes me question why I ride sometimes...
Great video, I'm looking at this particular bike as my first MC to get some experience on. Oh and Lisbon. I love that city, so full of life and really really nice people (Well that's a general experience of mine for entire Portugal). Even though I nearly sh*t my pants when I had to drive there :D Cheers from Denmark ;)
@@markbenedekalmasi8059 I get what you are saying. I'm currently looking for an A2 version and they are scarce. Hopefully you will find one that meets your needs.

What is the successor to this after 2013?
@@deepsudeep there is none
I have a 2013 model, love it!
@@deepsudeep maybe the NC750x kinda ish
The fact you are as you freely admit, "no expert" Makes these videos more relevant than the Pro's efforts. And way more entertaining.
I have got cbf500 and I love it to bits...is more economical and lighter than 600, its good all-rounder specially in London's traffic. ride safe.

Great review! My hips were going side to side as you filtered through the cars, bit tight :)
Hey Cage! Bought one of these after I watched your video. Thanks mate, I'm really enjoying it!
Nice review, made me chuckle! Thinking of getting one of these as for commuting as my RSV is too much work :(
Nice video. I have that same bike here in Canada. And I love it.
I'm canadian and considering this bike. Was it hard on insurance. Gonna be my first bike.

Um video bem disposto.....é um modelo que me cativa bastante mas nao tinha ideia de certos detalhes.....
I remember that "Left... Right... Right?" scene. I can't recall the movie but i remember laughing a lot with it.
CagerOnTwoWheels és português e só fazes isto em inglês da cbf? Wtf?
Haha! The argument with the cabbie! Lolz u r funny! Great video!
Cager, you think you have it bad, we pay $8 per us gallon for petrol in England!
We pay $ 3.04 up near me, it's crazy. We have so much oil of our own, and yet we don't drill for it, makes no sense to me ???
Twice you did that with the indicators at a roundabout, was slightly concerning considering you were also changing lanes lol
CagerOnTwoWheels
Luckily this was not russia ;-)
hey... nice video.. its always nice to see u trying new bikes..
any change u can try a suzuki GSX 650F?
Hi COTW, Man, in Canada you would get killed Lane Splitting like that, or ticketed till you are broke. Ride safe!

What is the MPG in the city. I am between this and the NC700x.
Holy shit damn near 6 dollars for gas a gallon ... Man ...
It is very expensive indeed
"Loaner bike," this is not a concept we have in the states. :)
Shit most places won't even allow a parking lot test drive.
CBF600 but from which year? tnx
I currently have CFB600SA, I don't know if you've ridden the CBR600RRA, do you think it would be much of an upgrade going from CBF600SA to CBR600RRA.
J Hu lol its like double the horsepower

Hey Cager, we pay $10 for a gallon of gas in Turkey :) think about expensive again! :)
It's not true!
The driver knew he had no right and still had the nerve to try to be funny "I think it's cool, you, on a bike, getting in front of a car".
