Hi - recently passed my CBT. The guy instructing said i needed a good bit more experience before i do my MOD 1 and 2. So i've gone and got myself a wee Lexmoto Isca. Serviced it, and oiled the chain, and checked the chain tension, all this morning. Thanks to your videos. :)

@@themobilemotorbikemechanic Subscribed from Australia! In my state of 3 million people there is not a single mobile motorcycle mechanic but there are 137 mobile motor vehicle mechanics! And in my state it doesn't even rain for 6 months straight!!! I cannot believe you can get by with the UK weather mate. I like your work and your attitude. Very impressed indeed. I will be watching forever.

Legally where do you stand, working on a motorcycle in a public place, on a public road?

Legally, I stand on my feet.

@@themobilemotorbikemechanic Its illegal in the UK to maintain a vehicle on the public highway. You can only repair a breakdown within 72 hours. This is for safety and environmental reasons. Clearly you are careful with spillages, but others wont be, allowing spilt oil on the road. Imagine if you accidentally knocked over 3 litres of dirty engine oil.
