I don't know who had more fun....the two of you or all of us watching this video!!!! LOVE it! I vote for green hues for the next paint pour! Can't wait!!
Greens for the next paint pour! Like a natural green agate or turquoise, dark and gold like a chunk of turquoise rock. Or white, grey and matallic. The possibilities are endless!
Awesome! I’m just now going thru and finding videos I have missed in the past 5 yrs since I started watching. Now I’m catching up with all of them! And I need to use this technique so I needed to learn! WooHoo! And I’ll watch the Fairy Chalk Mother one also!
MY FATHER DID THIS WITH WHITE GRAY N BLACK IT LOOKED LIKE EXPENSIVE MARBLE HE DID THIS TO A WALL UNITE SHELVES....SO NICE... BEAUTIFUL TECHNIQUE......WOW!!!!
I love your work. You do great work.I think my mom watches videos of you painting furniture on Facebook. It’s gorgeous.Keep up with the marvelous work your doing and don’t stop painting because what you paint becomes like a work of an artistic person in the making .I’m so glad you love to show everyone your passionate and self invested in painting.
I will try this next time I have the right piece of furniture. This color combo is great for the beach. I think the folks here in SE NC would enjoy type of "artsy" painting.
AMAZING!!!! I have been binge watching your channel for DAYS now, Jami and Zeb. After about 4 hours the first day of watching your work, I did become a paid member, btw! loveeee this paint pour...you were so brave, you encourage me! :D
This was fun and I appreciate you doing this with all of the paint brands that you carry. Zeb’s blooper was funny! I’m proud to learn and follow the Jami Ray Vintage brand you guys have created.
You may want to consider doing a base coat with one of the colors around the outside edges. It could save you from losing so much from the run off. Love this!
Ow great I love watching you do things to the house I love DIY I’ve just done my living room and it’s looking great now painted some small tables and a tall cupboard I have that I’m going to try the paint Tec Nick on xx 😘
I use this formula to figure out how much paint to use when pouring: Length" of surface x width" of surface/ 25 = ounces of paint to pour Hope that helps :)
I LOVE 💕 LOVE 💖 LOVE 💗 this dresser! It’s not my normal style, but it turned out so cool! I can see this in a shabby chic style home, a farmhouse style or even a modern beach house with a surf theme! I’m going to try that on both a piece of old Art Deco furniture I didn’t know what to do with, and also some repurposed old paintings!
I started watching people do the paint pour on canvas and thought, wow, imagine if someone were to do the paint pour on furniture............ Thank you for sharing...........
Jami & Zeb..you guys are designing your future home at the beach!! Love it! Very beachy!!! Happy to see that your vertigo must be feeling better, Jami..and hey..you prob could paint pour on canvas and have some gorgeous pictures! Very artistic, you guys!💕
Love this dresser and this technique! For the next project, I think it would be fun to do a mix of subtle white and tans/Tahoe’s. It wouldn’t be as dramatic, but I think it would create a marbling effect. You could add one darker gray or taupe for contrast. And if you did another milk paint pour, what would you do differently, if anything? How many days did it take from start to finish to allow for drying time?
We did this all in a day. It took about 4 hours for the drawers to dry before we lightly sanded them. (It’s very hot and dry in Utah right now. It might take much longer to dry in a humid climate.
I’ve only done 2 paint pours so you’ve seen them all! 😊 I’m loving the outcome though and they are selling fast at the shop so you may get to see more.
Oooooh..I think this is my FAVORITE❤️❤️❤️..and as you were doing this, I was thinking as Zeb was, that it looks wave-like..and my fav place to be is the ocean(Cal native here)..I think peacock feathers colors wld look beautiful for a paint pour..I know you will find just the right color combination👍
Gorgeousness! It's like the ocean. Both times you did this technique i kind of wanted more of the deepest color, but I don't know if it would be as beautiful. I think you got it just right. I like the idea of sunset colors, but not sure if yellows and oranges go with your aesthetic. Whatever you do is beautiful.
i agree i do not find this style attractive whatsoever. to me it's not artsy, just a total sloppy mess. but, she sharing what she does, so i always say thanks for letting us in to peep.
This color combo would look great with silver running through it. Kinda like the golden ticket from your other paint pour. ❤️ I wonder how a paint pour with whites and off whites would look. Not sure if there would be enough of a difference to notice the effect though.
I love what you guys do I love your taste in home and decor; it definitely has a great vibe! You’ve inspired me to upcycle some old furniture I have! Do you deliver your diy paints to Australia?
can I just suggest you to tape around the edges of the surface you want to paint and cover the rest with a trash bag. will save you a lot of time from sanding the mess. :)
I absolutely love the end product! I've never really liked stained wood, Except as an accent.. There are some woods that have such interesting grains and they're hard to find now a days. That being said the Grain on the 1st drawer you did Had me screaming in my he "Don't do it! Don't do it!" I'm building my house from the ground up as we lost it in all its contents to a Devastating house fire. Do you (or zeb) happen to have any idea What kind of wood that was (is)? I'm always keeping my eye out for interesting vintage pieces to refinish (like all us creative nuts are) Thank you for the video! Maybe it's something I'll try! Stay safe.
LOL @Zeb!!!
That was funny, but Zeb laughing really made it even better.
I love the way it came out. It looks like an ocean. Beautiful
Oh WOW !! It looks like the ocean. So pretty.
Beautiful work. Love the creativity
Thanks!
Beautiful! I would agree on a base coat and a tip for drawers is press and seal wrap around them to keep out any unwanted paint drips.
I don't know who had more fun....the two of you or all of us watching this video!!!! LOVE it! I vote for green hues for the next paint pour! Can't wait!!
Very beautiful it looks like the ocean with those blues
Love it, so beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! You two are the really bringing so much to us on so many methods! You're really the experts!
Greens for the next paint pour! Like a natural green agate or turquoise, dark and gold like a chunk of turquoise rock. Or white, grey and matallic. The possibilities are endless!

Those colors are my jam!!!!!! I love how this piece turned out. Now let’s see if I have the courage to do something like this myself!
You can do it! Maybe try something small first and go from there!
Yellows or greens would be so pretty!
Tape plastic or newspaper around the drawer. That way you dont have to be so careful in the tipping.
I love the finished look.
You've been killin it with the pours!!! 🎨
Thanks!
Fantastic job guys! This dresser needs a surf board propped up next to it! 😁🌊🏄♂️
Oh yeah. Waves and denim blue. Love it. The knobs are perfect. tfs
It looks like the ocean, I love it so much.
it's like watching the waves in the ocean, mesmerizing
I couldn’t get great pictures! It’s so much better in person.
I will try this next time I have the right piece of furniture. This color combo is great for the beach. I think the folks here in SE NC would enjoy type of "artsy" painting.

Thanks! I was gonna go darker but I worry that it would be too muddled.
Jami Ray Vintage I think you have good instincts. Both times they came out perfect. Restraint has served you well.

I think some lavenders would be pretty! :)
Yes, lavenders could be beautiful. Maybe paint pour colors in some Fall / Winter yellows, whites, beige, with a touch of burnt umber.
Looks amazing!! im inspired
You guys, this is BEAUTIFUL! You should definitely try to do a geode inspired dresser, with the golden ticket. It would look so pretty!!
