Perfectly different, and pretty for a teenager’s room! Love the mirrored knobs...great eye!! ❤️❤️❤️
Love how this turned out. The mirror knobs and gold feet really add to the dresser. I add a little water to my paints before I start to pour, really helps... but never any more than 10% water or paint may crack.
That's not true..I'm an artist it's more than 50% and it really depends on if the paint I s a polymer or not.
I wasn't with y'all in the beginning, I was like, "I don't know you guys." But then those knobs! Snazzy guys. Very snazzy. Great job!

Love the technique on this furniture piece. Next time add some silicone in your paint and then torch it lightly to get the bubbles to come up. Another technique is to try Unicorn Spit (a dye gel paint) you can dilute this concentrated product from 1 to 10 (paint to water). Apply the same way using syringes (no needles) when done with adding color, spray with water and cover with plastic. Spray plastic with water and then start moving your hands blending the color as you go. When it's where you want it, lift the plastic from one end and remove, let dry (chalk like). Seal with an oil based clear coat (at least a couple of coats). I then paint on water based clear coat a couple more times. The color pops like when it was wet when the clear coat is added. You can also use epoxy as a table cover top.

@@JamiRayVintage or next time make a pouring medium to add to your paints using half helmets glue and half water then pour all of your paints into one cup in layers but don't mix them. Then pour them. The pouring medium helps a lot to make the paint move easier. And if you do use a torch to get the marbled look do it quickly over the paint and don't hold it on the paint long or it will scorch it.
Wouldn't an oil base clear coat turn yellow?
All I’ve ever read is that you can’t paint a water based sealer on top of oil based, wondering what the reason is you do that, and have you had any trouble with the wear of it, since your post is two years old, 😊😊
I'm not totally sold on this look, but girl, yous rocked it, great combinations, the golden ticket was the perfect accent and those knobs...they were the icing on the cake, perfection...and only doing the drawers against the white base, stunning...if I still had my store, I'd be all over it...awesome job kids!!!

This is an absolutely marvelous creative idea for that piece with the uneven gummed up texture from all of the previous paint put on it. The end result is beautiful and very suitable for the simple design, and the hardware really give a great sparkle. Love this idea on this style and condition of piece.

Great idea to do only the drawer fronts that way it's not over kill. This is so perfect for a little girls or teen room. Love it. I did a vanity with bright pink and blue and it got a little wild so I ended up taming it down with white. I liked the brightness but I was afraid who ever bought it would soon get tired of the bright colors. It sold quickly so I think I made the right choice. Next time I'm gonna only do the drawer fronts like you. Much better look. Thanks for sharing. I love watching your videos.

Love what you did. When moving the paint around using a hair dryer or straw is faster. Did this to the top of my Bistro table using the course and effect of waves washing onto shallow water.

So I went to a local thrift store and found a beautiful French country style table and 4chairs for only 50 dollars... it currently has a dark stain on it I am just trying to choose a color.
