I enjoyed this video. The oldest person in my small community of Bethel, Texas (Anderson County) is now 101 years old. She gave birth to 22 kids. Her best friend and cousin was my mom who would be 99 years old. My mom passed at 93 years old. This man reminds me of my husband’s grandfather who died at 107 years old back in 1993. I love sitting and talking to old black folks gaining as much as I can. 🙏🏾
This is so funny reminding me about my granny .. your not getting out that house with out a pleather of sermons and scriptures.. no one wanted to stop by my house.. but I couldn’t go if they didn’t stop at our house first .. now we’re 50 and wishing we still had this .. I love it ❤

Keep up these interviews with the elders, both men AND women.! They've been there and done that. We can learn a lot from them spiritually, marriage and relationships, saving money, you name it. Knowledge is power! We are the only nation that don't uphold our elders as a very precious resource and commodity, if you will. Again , I commend you for taking out the time for this interview.
My Second Comment: I’m saving this video. In one setting I’m going to make all of my grandchildren (ages 9 to 16) watch this video. Then I’m going to make them write a 5 part thesis report. For the preteens it has to be (2) pages. For the teenagers it has to be a total of (7) pages. I intend for them to get a good understanding of what this pastor is saying. They will thank me later.
Wow! I remember as a child growing up. In school we had to say prayer before school started, sing praise to God, prayer before we ate, before we left school. He is telling the truth about everything. I was born in the late 70s. We also wen to church 4 times a week including night service. Thank you for this story, brings so much memories.
