Dear ladies repeat after me! LOVE Bombing 💣 is not Love, hoovering is not a sign of a reformed man/woman. The will suck you in drive you crazy, abandon/discard you right after the wedding, , when you rebuild they come back to uproot you from your core. God internationally let you stay 6months with no baby the first time…toxic men are very canning like conmen
This right here🙏🙏

I can't agree more with you. I was in a relationship with a man who had created a "heaven" for me. The relationship was full of love bombing. We rushed things as we met in Dec 2022 and in March 2023 we were already planning a wedding. We met in a youth conference so he was a saved guy and God-fearing 🤣. We had arguments all through, but I had to keep cool because of the already-known wedding. Every time we had an argument he gaslighted me and I was in the wrong all the time to the point I stopped complaining as I thought I was the one who was not understanding. To cut a long story short he revealed his real character after paying the dowry, never caring about me. Fast forward I was emotionally tortured, was tired of the relationship even before the wedding happened. All this time I couldn't leave because I was wondering what the church, parents, and friends would say until this day when I was on the verge of depression, crying and I looked at myself in the mirror and said no, I can't do this anymore but again I had no courage to leave. Thank God one day I decided to ask something about him,{ mind you I never enquired anything about him before, I relied on what he told me because I couldn't stand hearing anything negative about my love, there was no chance for haters🤣🤣🤣}, he knew about it, got mad to the point of saying that he 'would cancel the wedding, give me a year to gather information about him and let him know when I was done. This was God's way of letting me out of the relationship. The wedding was supposed to happen in November last year but it didn't. I'm now working towards returning the dowry. God saved my life. I can't imagine how I could be living with him in the same house.

Pastor Kenye I Love your sense of judgement.
You have not allowed your error of giving him a second chance affect your sense of judgement. This was just perfect for me.

I have learnt alot from this pastor, but she fails to admit that abuse is abuse. What if that man could have killed her? The men and women of clothe need to stop sending back abused women back to their abusive homes.
Amen. Am glad someone said this. She needs to clearly state that. Am scared that she doesn't see this
Agree. She has not yet admitted her own wrongs- like getting this man loans, especially when he returned to slap her with Abuse Paper 2. Why buy him a car. She was not confident in herself and used her access to finance as a way to keep him. I can tell if this man comes again , she will gladly accept Abuse Paper 3. This is how we describe such Exes in Zimbabwe. Am ex only comes back when the see you rebuilding , only so they can destroy you again.

Agreed. Some of the advise given by preachers is just unbiblical, very carnal and dangerous! Every advise has to be tested through the word of God. How was the husband allowed to continue being a pastor after his cheating scandals? The only thing that husband was imparting was sexual immorality n that's why today he is in deep bondage of sexual immorality n other evils. The church should have focused on redemption of the man. He is now a perfect tool of Satan, cause damage everywhere
Such an amazing woman of God. That's how much mums sacrifice for their kids. It's good that u gave your marriage a second chance coz now you'll have no regrets. It's also good that u have two kids from one man. Kids are worth more than a husband..... he's the looser

I like the confidence the lady has she never gave up in her life no matter what happened she would recollect herself quickily take a different angle and move on, what a such strong lady.
She has a beautiful story but I can't help but feel like she hasn't seen the toxic side of her church... I mean she is pushed to apologize (for what), encouraged to stay. But at the same time they help her out when she is down..... Almost like they are looking for ways to build he up not to sustain her.
i almost feel that what she went through was unnecessary and unavoidable.....she deserves a better circle.....she also should sue. This ex is living life knowing that no one will call him out
The church is toxic sure
@@ebenezersifuna940 if she has overcome, she should not allow the old demons reign over her life. Sometimes trying to get even, hurts you more than your violator.
A statement of fact, in Kenyan courts you don't solve an issue in a day, or a month. It can take years. Imagine coming face to face with your violator, letting him occupy your mind for that long?
God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of POWER, of LOVE, and of SOUND MIND....
When you rise from your ruins; you are of POWER, you are of LOVE, and of SOUND MIND. Forgiveness is not weakness, it is strength. And forgiveness is not always after revenge.
I think this comes down to self-awareness and so many lessons to learn. They attach so much to the church and I think there is a scripture in the Bible that does not condone abuse. The Lord hates divorce but not divorcees and divorce is validated clearly when there is infidelity but does the church read this portion of scripture? No, they only want people to stay no matter what. I think this is where every believer needs to read the Bible on their own.
Matthew 5:31-32
"It was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.' But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery."
I agree that the church made her life worse and she doesn't see it. Lynn's side eye and general reaction was also like wth were you told to apologise for?!
I never return to an ex! Never!! I block them infact! She wasn't to call him back!! This story covers all women who have been abused and dumped by men they trusted. I'm glad she's alive. May God help her.

Spiritual narcissist, the worst abusers because they know the word of God. People view the victim as the perpetrator because of how the abusers are able to paint themselves 😢 They will also do everything it takes to break your heart using another woman or children or material things, to them anything they can hold on to is an object of vendetta against you. Take home: Never go back to an ex. It's a mistake we keep repeating but every time the results are almost, always disastrous.
My concern: I feel the interviewee hasn't yet taken time to learn about the toxic nature of some advice offered by church elders or counselors. She has gone through a lot and I am hopeful and wish she prosper to greater length, though its still unfortunate that she is still using the veil of religion to hide from the factors that made this man do dirty to her for the second time so easily. Lyn, you are an inspiration to many people especially those who are struggling with marriage issues. This interview is the best ❤!!
God is the only option!!
Ladies be aware of narcissist who are financial abusers they can drain to the bone.
An abusive man needs help whether he is a pastor or not. I don't agree with Margaret's mentors telling her to return to that man without counseling both of them as a couple. Something is very wrong with our church elders. They need to do better in counseling traumatized members.
Neither do i . I am a Pastor.
Pastor or no Pastor the church elders look at our culture and traditions more than the church
Her strength, sense of humour, outspokeness, dertemination, sharp intellect, resilience...just a summary of her great personality. Women are outperfoming men & men can see that and instead of pulling themselves up they are always finding ways to tear us down in the name of "I'm the head" "you are being disrespectful" while all they feel is shame, guilt and embarrassment about themselves. And they should be ashamed!
I think Gen Z is on the right path for choosing "childfreeness" & singleness. Us women have strength, God is with us but we can't continue like this. It's costing us too much. Can't wait for worldwide marriage & child bearing strike. Not that it's going to help but it looks better that this torment.
