Allways enjoy your reaction to Asaf Avidan music Saeed! Its great how detailed you are with your reactions. Love❤it. I cant even think off the top of my head what you haven't realted to of Asaf's Music. Love and appreciate the support.! 🤗
I love that you were able to understand the metaphors of this song so quickly! I certainly didn't at first, but it's one of my favourite songs. The sense of acceptance and belonging is so nice. Makes me feel at peace.
We are moles, my friend. ❤ Such a comforting song to write to your dear friend. A song of acceptance and belonging. Not only do our "breed of men" live in the damp, dirty darkness, we thrive in it, we see things others can't, we make beautiful art out of it. We don't shy away, but try to understand it to help ourselves and others to not be afraid. Up there in the sun, the cold blooded reptiles are living in their escapist world, they aren't able to handle a life in the dark. But the darkness of the night comes for them too, they just don't want to deal with it. Even though moles are blind, we are less blind than those who blind themselves to the fact that the dark (night) always comes. And yes, Asaf has said he had the image of the crocodiles in Disney's Fantasia "Dance of the Hours" in mind, which I think you are referring to. Asaf worked as a cartoon animator before he became a musician.
Beautifully described! Thank you for sharing. Ooh, i think i had that same image, but for some reason i wasnt even sure if it was real. It was so far in the back of mind and he brought it back. Now that is magic 😀
@@SaeedReacts. That's one thing I really like about Asaf's music, although the subjects are sad, he manages to get a sense of humor and playfulness into it. Like comparing humans to moles and cartoon crocodiles. Or in "Your Anchor" when he says "no, you're just a fish", and in "Rock of Lazarus" with the image of the tired cartoonish zombie heart... It makes me giggle a bit. It's so unexpected and entertaining. 😆Without making the song any less serious.
Thank you Saeed !! Great detailed reaction as always. I have nothing to add, you said on reaction all my thoughts . I particularly like this song for the lyrics , the melody and even if it might seem strange this song always heals for a while my personal loss. I'm really happy of your choice. Thanks for sharing! and yes Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia, 2021.
@@SaeedReacts. This is the song I listen to over and over again… Thank you for choosing it : I couldn't do it. I decided to see what would happen with your choice. I agree and happy that this amazing artist shares his profound response to his dear friend through a song: so many emotions and thoughts in a piece of art!
Thank you, thank you, and thank you again Saeed❣️ As always, you move me very much with your interpretation of his songs. You're referring to every word of the song from the depths of your heart. And it's unbelievable how accurate you are. I'm waiting for more of him on your channel. I want to send you more requests but I don't know if you are overloaded with requests...
Thank you so much for the kind words. He truly makes amazing music and writes pure poetry. I have 2 more Asaf requests that are coming . Probably one tomorrow and the day after.
