    Great patience. Had to laugh when you said great place for them to put a fuel filter. It was in my head right when you said it LOL

    I have been using pliers for years to get the fuel filter out never knowing there was a screw to loosen the clamp lol. I used my Milwaukee cordless ratchet with the t30 you mentioned and it came right out. Thank you sharing this, you just made my life a whole lot easier lol. I drive 20k miles a month so yeah I change the fuel filter a lot lol.

    Excellent video that matches my 2019 Sprinter. Tip: Take care to avoid breaking fragile plastic T-connection for fuel return line that sits above fuel filter.

    Thank you. Your instructions and video worked well, although in my case those hose clamps were easier to remove with a straight pick, inserting, and twisting. I had a hard time with the pick you were using. I lost that little hose clamp on that small plug that plugs into the right side of that electronics module. I'll have to call the dealer and see if I can get them to wrangle up a spare clip for me.

    Thanks for the vid!!! Any ideas about how to fix a broken fuel return line t? When I pulled off the fuel lines going to the fuel filter, I hit the return line that is in front of it…. I broke the plastic t.

    Hello, I have a 2019 Mercedes sprinter with 60,000 miles and the dealer tells me that I should change the oil in the transmission and differential, which would you recommend?

    When I got this done at the dealer, I spoke to the tech and asked him about the procedure step by step. He mentioned that you can have problems if you reuse the turbo inlet gasket. He's worked on commercial vans serviced by Firestone, and he says that he's seen turbo damage due to gasket debris going into the turbo. What are your thoughts on this? Would you say it's safe to reuse the gasket if you put it back exactly the same way?

    • @davidgross2971
      @davidgross2971 3 года назад +1

      Just make sure the gasket is in good shape and seated properly .

      Better change it, it costs like 30$ , better than changing a 1500$ turbo

      I got the same info from the Fletcher jones Mercedes Van Center in Newport Beach, CA. $20 at EuropartsSD for the gasket. $55 from the dealer.

    Excellent videos. I need to learn how to service my 2019 Freightliner. Do you by any chance teach mechanics? I would like to learn by making the change under the supervision of an expert? I travel all over the country. How much would you charge me to explain the procedure to me and supervise while I do it. I have paid up to $1200 for oil and filter change, fuel filter change and transmission oil change. Cheers
