- born in 1895 she was singer composer and a nurse her first career she have from 1911 till 1957 then she work for 20 years as a nurse and from 1977 till hear dead 1984 she sings the blues again.Here is the first part of a televisionconcert she was in Londen and France before in 1927 till she go,s back to the states. She and hear the little lady when she sings the blues. When your smiling and The love i have for you . More later.
My favorite is Alberta singing "The Love I Have for You" which she wrote and sang for the 1978 film "Remember My Name."

A musical gem
Love her Love Her. She's 87 or so here. Wonderful. I found her Amtrak Blues album by accident in a second hand shop. Thought it looked interesting ... Little did I know I'd found one of my favourite artists and albums of all time. I wasn't even a fan of this sort of music at the time... Thanks so much for posting this. Its so good to be able to see live footage of her.
