Alberta Hunter in concert France 1983 part 1

born in 1895 she was singer composer and a nurse her first career she have from 1911 till 1957 then she work for 20 years as a nurse and from 1977 till hear dead 1984 she sings the blues again.Here is the first part of a televisionconcert she was in Londen and France before in 1927 till she go,s back to the states. My favorite is Alberta singing "The Love I Have for You" which she wrote and sang for the 1978 film "Remember My Name."

Love her Love Her. She's 87 or so here. Wonderful. I found her Amtrak Blues album by accident in a second hand shop. Thought it looked interesting ... Little did I know I'd found one of my favourite artists and albums of all time. I wasn't even a fan of this sort of music at the time... Thanks so much for posting this. Its so good to be able to see live footage of her.
