Really like the videos about how to handle reptiles. Definitely keeping this info in the back of my head whenever I get the chance to handle a snake in the future ❤
Thank you! My Dumeril's boa, (not a tree climber), will be fine hanging out around my shoulders, UNTIL I get up and walk around. THEN he starts tightening around my neck, (fear of falling, though i have never dropped him). I have found that all i have to is to sit down, and he always relaxes his grip immediately.
Wow your snakes are more like puppies than mean aggressive snakes. What a treat to see. If people are requesting videos about dealing with bites and handling techniques, I nominate not so Silent Bob. Watching you with him was amazing. Thank you for showing what a true bond with reptiles can be.
I have a young gopher snake that might be 3' long and he's a spazzy noodle. Takes several minutes before he will stay still. No controlling him really except passing him hand to hand. I would definitely pull something if I tried to handle one of them big boys lol!
@IntrepidExotics and also explain their size potential because people say they can reach up to 16 feet....and I have seen pictures of boas that are easily over 13 feet....and even tom Crutchfield says they can get 15 to 16 feet as well
Thanks so much for this video. I just got a ball python after thinking about it for YEARS and for some reason im still a little nervous handling him even though i know how uninclined they are to bite. Subscribed to you keep the great videos coming!
You exemplify the benefits you aim to help others achieve. And it makes me so happy. I adore you. I know from your point of view this might not be as evident, but i think somehow you need to remind viewers of why good handling practices are important How strong these animals are. Maybe something on how if they get onto/ into something, how fast you realize you just lost control. I know you dont wanna support the bad image of snakes, but i think we have all had even a small snake that one it started winding through the kitchen chair spindles or whatever, there was no yanking them off. I personally had a ball that only got its head into the crack of the couch and before i could blink im figuring out the least destructive way to take my reclining love seat apart without disturbing the mechanisms. This translates to other things or bigger mischief without fueling phobia.....kinda....maybe? I hope you get my drift. I appreciate your content. I think you are special to these animals and you are providing a service to them and us thats not found easily. Thank you.
Hello. I’ve been watching you amongst a few others before I ever even got into retics. Can’t say I would watch anyone else. You have great relationships with all your animals and I’ve learned so much from you. I have a couple questions about a male Pied Het Albino I have about a yr and a half old. What’s the best way we could talk or maybe get into a little more detail?
Easiest way is to msg me on Facebook, next is instagram. If I don't respond just prod me in a comment or something, a lot of msg's start in the spam folder there
As always, so cool! Thanks for the tips! My ornery Texas Rat Snakes thank you too!

Bob is doing great now. Still not as confident as I would like but no bites anymore!
I love the "turning technique.' I had never known about that before watching your videos. Excellent!
I really appreciate your channel! You are so kind and respectful to your animals. You are doing good work for the reptile hobby. :)
Another great upload Tim. 👍
What a gorgeous retic!
Great video! You do a great job describing what you are doing, thinking while handling. Thats so helpful.
Excited for this one, Tim! If only Kagan was there to tag team with ya 😂
I coulda definitely used her help this past Sunday at the expo when I was wrestling my adult mainlands around...my back is still thrashed! LOL
