Kicking myself for not watching this when you posted it. Had a customer come in the other day for an oil change. I believe it was a 2021 Escape. We noticed an oil leak, but did not trace it. Looked like it was coming from the filter housing. This video looks like it is just above the filter which would be consistent. I figured it was still under warranty as it only had just over 12,000 miles. I recommended she take it to a dealer for a closer look.
Haven't had any fail yet, I did recently do the fuel tank sending unit on a bronco sport badlands for the possible internal fuel leak with the sending unit.
Thanks for your expertise in the service proccess. Have a new to me 2018 f150 coyoty. Occasionally on cold startup have a strong odor of gas. Ever seen that before?
Hi Rich. Love your channel. Recently traded in my 2017 F150 2.7 for a 2021 with the same motor. The old truck had 115,000 miles only issue was recent charcoal canister otherwise flawless. The new truck at 3000 miles suddenly showed service light & cruise stopped working. I turned it off & on then got CEL and noticed less power - no turbo. We were near a dealer on a camping trip. He said the code was for turbo waste gate actuator, they are back-ordered. But he cleared the code and we continued on our trip, added 1,000 miles with no problem. Do you think the code will show up on the next service (oil change)? Have you seen this ? I love the truck but concerned about this becoming a lingering issue.
Ford is asking for photos now because too many techs where doing jobs that didn't meet the requirements. I got a parts request once for a job that needed photos sent to Ford. I told the shop foreman and he said he'd take care of it. I checked with him later on and he said to toss the parts req. because the vehicle didn't need repairs.
Hello, My question is not related to the topic here , sorry , just need someone to help me and my friend here . Would like to know which spark plugs should be used on a 2007 mustang GT with the 4.6 3 V , he has autolite on now , asking this because engine has been rebuilt (block only) and he s afraid of the broken plugs in the earlier Mustangs like 2005 and so . Could anybody get back with the informations please . Thanks
You act like this is astonishing we have vehicles coming from the factory from multiple manufacturers with safety recalls I mean so this is really nothing new
We haven’t had a failure yet in my shop.
Us neither
We have a 2020 Escape AWD Titanium 2.0L Ecoboost, engine made in Spain 🇪🇸 Love it, used now cost more then what we paid new !! Thanks Joe
You're really thankful for the state of the us economy? Keep your mask on there bud
Good info on these recalls.
