Thing is an emulator is very different to a native port, the device doing emulation requires like x amount more power than the original console , the actual specs of the vita on paper sound wayyy more powerful than the ps2 but it’s handheld, running on super low power consumption and has no actual cooling, it runs on passive cooling, so it’s pretty hard to compare the two.
Do ps2 emulators even run on android cause the last time i had an android all the ps2 emulators were scams and the ones that did work ran at like 2 fps
This is giving me flashbacks to those videos of people saying "how to play this game on that console" and they just put the copy of said game on top of the console 😂😂😂😂

You are able to play ps2 games using pcsx2 and moonlight. Tested with Ratchet deadocked. But only near the pc. Still great

I read it needs at least 8GB RAM. If you have 6GB or so you can play Dreamcast smoothly (I love it!).

Aethersx2 is the latest ps2 emulator and it works great on midrange and high end phones
