I have only ever hit that note three times in one sitting after almost two hours of warming up and I've never been able to hit it again. Totally understandable that she dodges it live.
If you record a song that you know you will release and perform constantly, you better be able to hit those notes on the regular. If not, don’t do it in the first place.
LeftiSinger 66 she stated clearly in releasing that video that she wouldn't even attempt to hit that note in live versions. It took her forever to hit it in the studio. Chill out

LeftiSinger 66 is it like hurting you that she avoided it live or something? No need to get so worked up. I think the song sounds incredible in both versions and there is nothing wrong with her showing off her range in one song.

I can't imagine how hard everything must have been for her. To get to a point where she can write a song like praying and turn the situation around and say to who ever it's about "look, you've hurt me but i hope you can find time and reflect and heal and become a better person in time" shows an insane about of courage and strength. I don't care if her vocals aren't incredible. She's a fantastic songwriter and and for this, she deserves just as much respect as others.
the song definitely takes an extra layer when you factor in southern dialogue and such because often "im praying for you" will be as much a two faced comment like "oh bless their heart" so the song can both be interpreted as "i hope you become a better person" and "i hope what you did haunts your soul so much that even praying to god for help isnt enough"
Yes! Thank you...that honestly is what I got from it. Especially with the line "some things only God can forgive" which interprets to "i can't forgive you" so there is undoubtedly anger there and it's hard to hope for good things for someone you've been so hurt by. I always think of my emotionally abusive ex boyfriend when I sing this song...I CANNOT sing it without crying my eyes out and feeling a lot of that pain and anger I still have.
DollsUnitedCovenofKingsSect Professional singers aren't invincible bro, vocal cords are vocal cords. Even if you take care of them they eventually will get worn out.
yeah...EVENTUALLY. Have you ever heard of Broadway? People belt out high notes their ENTIRE lives. Kesha is not a vocalist, period. She hit a high note in a studio ONE time. Slow clap. There's literally MILLIONS of people who could sing the pants right off Kesha that will never have an audience like she does. It's ridiculous
DollsUnitedCovenofKingsSect Kesha wasn't fortunate enough to have a good vocal coach, he producers clearly didn't care for her, she may not be the best now but she can always improve which she's already doing. Y'all act like if you can't sing you just can't sing, practice is what makes a vocalist good,
if that was my song to my rapist n person that beat me up about image everyday wanted me to starve myself and then losing in court for a couple years later to find out that he's done it to other people I'd be crying every time I tried to sing it
No one, and I mean NO one sings perfectly live. The record label she was with over produced her and tried to make her another Britney Spears. She just ISN'T that. I always knew she had it in her to do these types of songs, but the record label tried to make her stay away from that.
Isabelle Slootweg there's always at least one part where someone is off pitch. That is just the truth. I love Sam Smith. I listen to him constantly, and he sounds amazing live. But not exactly like the album at all times.
That is not true. lol I've heard both Adele and Sam be pitchy in live performances, which is honestly perfectly fine unless it goes completely off key. Consistent, perfect pitch is very much a rarity. Neither Adele nor Sam Smith are an exception to that lol
She's always being able to sing. Her first album didn't have two slow songs on that I thought showed off her voice so well. Listen to Goodbye and Wonderland. Those two had me always knowing she was a really good singer. I still love them now actually ❤️
I know a couple people said she didn’t do good during the Grammys but I disagree with them cause the only reason her voice sounded shaky during the performance was cause she was almost crying by how emotional the song is but I know Kesha is really really good
Not almost. She's sobbing at the very end, and everyone surrounds her and holds her up as she's starting to fall apart. The fact that she could get thru the whole thing without stopping when she knew he was in the audience watching her is a level of fortitude most people never have to find.
She finally escaped the monster of the producer she was under. She won her court case and was released from her contract. Not only did he make her produce music she didn't want to make and purely for money, he also raped her almost a decade I believe. I used to hate Kesha when she first came about, but this is great. Regardless of the story behind it this is objectively good and a significant improvement from her old music (which she had no choice in). The story behind it makes it that much better. She escaped and made it through. Now she can live her life by her own rules. I'm proud of her.
@@jwomackandcheese73 I don't understand "hating" someone in the first place just because you don't like their music...why would I say I hate Pink Floyd just because I don't like any of their songs?? It wouldn't make sense.
her high note that she hits in the studio is very hard to hit even if she took a couple tries its hard to sing like that in real life. you have to work at it a lot I think she can sing pretty well. Singing live is much different then in studio not everything's going to sound the same right off the bat she can also take lessons to get her voice to do it live she did change her vocal, but like I said singing live is much harder. People who can't sing or haven't even tried shouldn't judge if they haven't done it.
John miller lol this is one of my pet peeves when people can’t infer something simple that I wrote. Let me make it more clear and simple for you: I did not say that she cannot sing. In fact she’s an amazing singer with a powerful voice. All I’m saying is she needs more practice singing the style she’s singing. She used to sing pop songs like tik tok that didn’t require a lot of vocal skill but now she’s completely changed and is singing what she wants which is harder. You can definitely tell in her other performance like the grammys that her voice is very shaky and it sounds like she’s running out of breath a lot. That’s it. But I’m not a professional so I can only say it’s my opinion. Hope you get it now. 🤣✌️
In her defense she did say that she wouldn't do the high note a lot live since in the studio it took her over 10 tries to actually hit it in the studio! She did say that she would try to do it at least once or twice but, not a lot.
She could always sing. I heard older clips of her singing back in the day other songs other than her pop stuff. It was just the pop -scene that they went with as her gig. ..shes written songs for big names since she was 17.
I was very shocked when this song came out it is absolutely one of her best she has went from dumb pop songs to something with emotion and feeling love it
Who cares if she isn’t singing technically perfect? She sounds beautiful, she’s happy about what she’s singing, she’s happy overall, and what she doesn’t showcase in technique she makes up for in emotions, she feels what she’s singing
Patri6k D3mps3y who cares? Maybe her vocal chords? Her voice will be completely damaged if she doesn’t sing with good technique. A good singer MUST have technique
Sofiadelsy While I agree with you I have to say that good technique doesn't prevent vocal damage. If you are constantly singing too much (think about Whitney Houston) you will still damage your voice. Good technique slows down that process but isn't going to stop it. But of course that's not an excuse to sing with terrible technique especially because most people will never tour their voices to exhaustion.
Why do people think think technique isn't important.. yeah she sings with emotions, but she's simultaneuously ruining her voice. Technique and emotion are not either/or, you can have both. Only stupid or lazy vocalists would choose to not learn how to sing with good technique.
Hey Tristan, new subscriber here! I just wanted to say that I love how encouraging you are in all of your reaction videos, and how willing you are to point out any areas where the singer can improve. You never tear people apart, and even when you give constructive criticism, you're not pretentious about it at all. I love you! Keep doing you!
I've seen Kesha in concert, recently actually (September at the Ryman), and she is one of the most amazing, raw singers I've heard in a while. She's so emotional and incredible.
She literally has such a good voice! And considering this was her first time singing such an emotional song (live), AND SHE WAS ON THE VERGE OF CRYING, because of everything that happened to her. She’s slaying everyday ❤️
it was her first time singing an incredibly emotional song, and low notes are prone to shakiness. Add nerves on top of that and it can go badly, so i think she decided to make it something that'll sound better live given the circumstances :)
She does it to make it a little different for live performance. If she sang it exactly the same as the studio, she wouldn't attract as many people to her shows because who would want to spend $75-250 to see someone sing the same way that they did in the studio. They would be better off just making a playlist of her setlist or just buy the album
She took the song down a half step from the studio recording (the studio version is in A and this is in B-flat). It's possible she just couldn't hit them or didn't feel like she could hit them well enough that day.
I respect the fact that she's not lip singing she can sing, she just needs a lot of practice live in my opinion, but most singers do. AND high notes are a bitch to hit perfectly.
random person Exactly. She hasn't sung live for years so, people should stop pressuring her so much. And you're right about those high notes being all bitchy.
She is great singer and I'm tired of all these haters who are claiming the opposite. And I wouldn't even count myself as her fan. I've heard a few live performances of Praying and based on all of them, she is overall amazing. Yes she is not perfect and she has a lot to improve. She strains her voice and push it more than necessary from time to time and seems to struggle to control it sometimes. But it could also be just because of the emotions, which she delivers very well and that's honestly something I cherish more than some perfect singing.
You should see her performance on Jimmy Fallon! You saw her first performance, which in comparison proves to be still in the works. I feel like she's going to get better too!
When I saw the title of the original video, I was like, “there is no way!!” I watched the vid and I was in tears saying “this is the most beautiful song I ever heard” but the title is wrong. This guy gets it. He knows what good music is( and this performance is one of them
Also have to understand how scary it must be for her, to be live, and to be singing such emotional songs. I love her and i have been listening to her forever, and will always be a huge fan.
She was getting emotional during singing. I’m glad she sang it because it was supposed to help against something...I don’t remember...😐whoops😬but I’m glad she sang it😬
She has always been able to sing, look up her song this is goodbye. One of her first songs that was never released. Her label just wanted to market her as a sort of party girl pop star. She writes her own material, her mother is a song writer. She was also on a episode of the simple life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie before she was famous. I’ve seen her live twice, she never lip syncs even with her Edm songs. She always sounds good, and had a lot of energy during her performances
Holy crap I can’t believe I never heard this song before it’s SO POWERFUL. When she sang I hope your soul is changing it really hit me. Like shit imma bout to cry ok bye now😭😭😭
I never commented on any videos of yours until I watched this react video. OMG did this give me goosebumps! Like damn that girl can SING!!!! I love to sing. But I rarely sing in public. I just think I'm not good enough. But I love your videos! And watching you give constructive criticism to everyone, whether they're good or bad, is encouraging. :)
She dodges it on every performance because it is a note so high it can damage vocal cords. Plus it would just be really hard to hit live. Obviously lol.
Benjamin Hayes it’s not that high enough to damage vocal cords or well for me. I think she should get more training and she could probably hit that note more often ✨
That note, i believe it's at the end of her vocal range like so... I do believe when she feels confident enough to hit that note she will, but then again if for her that note is actually that high, as you can well see, hitting that more often than she should or doing that every time she sang the song live just so you can be satisfied about a freaking note could dramatically damage her vocal cords. :) Look at Celine Dion, she doesn't always do her big note in "All by my self", or Demi Lovato with her immense note in Stone Cold, or even Whitney Houston in some songs she did not do every note like the studio ones. (I'd even include Mariah Carey, but we all know that she can barely be an "average" singer these days). So yeah and also knowing Kesha's past type of songs, i don't think she has a really brilliant technique and experience to sing such a powerful strong with absolutely every single high note she has in "Praying" all the time. :) ( No offence to anyone)
yea like it’s a really loud and high not if she did it every time she’d lose her voice and she’s always have a soar throat and yea her vocal cords would be destroyed
Its funny how alot of people who can actually sing hit those notes all the time but when it's this bitch y'all keep making excuses why she won't do it just get over it already She. Can't. Sing.
I feel like she used to be too heavily influenced by production, now she's decided "fuck it I'm just gonna sing". Sooooo much better than her old stuff.
this song and performance is absolutely breathtaking, everything about it is so beautiful. the emotional, powerful delivery, her raw vocals and beauty, the lyrics, instrumental, her overall stage presence is so moving, all the respect to her
Kesha is so amazing. She has been through SO MUCH!!I love her music and talent. She made a name for herself on her own. She also so beautiful and strong 💪 ❤️🥰😍🤯😊
I agree with everything you said. Kesha has proven that she can actually sing. Going back to talking about her past musical offerings, her label probably wanted to make her another Lady Gaga or Katy Perry, both of which heavily used autotune and had overly produced music, but have proven that they can sing raw!
I'm the biggest fan of ur work.. they say u have to have an obsession with what u do. and u ur really precise and accurate in ur approach.. wish to learn from u some day
i was there when she performed woman for the first time live and omg it was life changing her voice is amazing and she puts her heart and soul into her work and you can hear it
I was honestly surprised because I also only know tick tock and didn't think she was very singy. This was amazing and I hope to see more of her singing in the future tbh.
back when she was on the cover of seventeen magazine, in an interview she said that she didn't care about any of the criticisms of her and the content of her songs, but the one thing that really got to her was when people said she couldn't sing because thats the one thing she was confident in. so i'm pretty sure she has always been able to sing and just didn't really put it on display in songs like tiktok
My fave song. So much emotion in this song. I didn't believe it was her when I first heard it bc that voice!!!! but now it's on every mixed CD in my car. I love that people can connect emotionally to this song for so many different reasons. It's beautiful.
I hate People that criticize her when she sings this live. Google her name and you’ll see pretty quickly what this song is about. It’s got to be so difficult to sing it without getting teary and sad.
I think some people say she can't sing well live because her live version is SOOOOO different from her recording. I personally prefer the recording to this but it is by no means bad.
She could always sing, people just hear autotune and assume people can’t sing. Listen to the non-singles off her albums and you can hear it. Listen to Animal.
I like it :) She sings with emotion. I much prefer this over the "talk singing" she would do a lot in the past. But I've heard her before she was known on a few things and knew she could sing, and always wondered why she didn't seem to do it much. I like the direction she's going in.
well I really dont know why people say that she cant sing in her past times of tik tok and die young, well that was pop music, a lots of artists nowadays sing like that and no one is blaming them, so why kesha??? is my question....cause she CAN sing
She sounded shaky because that song was for the man who assaulted her and then tried to ruin her career because she didn't keep her mouth shut. That performance was TO him. That shaking is not her out of breath, it's not bad singing, it's rage.

2019 here? And i just realized Kesha invented Tik Tok.....
w0t? Show me proof that she invented musical.ly
She didn’t invent tik tok. Tick tock is a name of one of her songs from the early 2000’s.
@@ferninthehouse *tik tok
@@fartripper7598 it's a joke relax
If you didn’t know Ke$ha sang a song called tik tok and got it confused with an app... you’re too young to be here
I can't imagine how hard everything must have been for her.
Ash Taylor exactly!!!!!! and besides she made an amazing comeback people just hate on her because they have nothing better to do
I’m at least 99% sure it’s about her producer that sexually and emotionally abused her
the song definitely takes an extra layer when you factor in southern dialogue and such because often "im praying for you" will be as much a two faced comment like "oh bless their heart" so the song can both be interpreted as "i hope you become a better person" and "i hope what you did haunts your soul so much that even praying to god for help isnt enough"
Mika Lei yeah it is
Kesha sounds amazing each & every time she sings she puts her heart & soul into each performance & I still get goosebumps when I hear her sing.
Laurie Corkum No kidding, I also got goose bumps like 5 times during this clip. It's beautiful❤
If she sang that note all the time her vocal cords would be destroyed
NO she'd be what's called a "professional singer". For Christ's sake
Y'all act like if you can't sing you just can't sing, practice is what makes a vocalist good,
ACDC? Hahaha nice try
I now this is a little unrelated to the video but I love Tristan’s nails and I think they are beautiful and amazing
Yes, I can tell by your profile
Thumbs up for not using a putrid neon green and yellow
Kesha's voice is so amazing. Maybe her pitch isn't always perfect, but I love her style of singing.
It isn't off by any more than a normal human would be off, we are talking minor fluctuations here. The sort of things that happen with emotion.
Me too
if that was my song to my rapist n person that beat me up about image everyday wanted me to starve myself and then losing in court for a couple years later to find out that he's done it to other people I'd be crying every time I tried to sing it
Sarah Lameyer she wasnt raped. Fuck feminism and falsely accusing men.
No one, and I mean NO one sings perfectly live. The record label she was with over produced her and tried to make her another Britney Spears. She just ISN'T that. I always knew she had it in her to do these types of songs, but the record label tried to make her stay away from that.
Lydia Reyes Adele and Sam smith both sing perfectly live
Isabelle Slootweg there's always at least one part where someone is off pitch. That is just the truth. I love Sam Smith. I listen to him constantly, and he sounds amazing live. But not exactly like the album at all times.
That is not true. lol I've heard both Adele and Sam be pitchy in live performances, which is honestly perfectly fine unless it goes completely off key. Consistent, perfect pitch is very much a rarity. Neither Adele nor Sam Smith are an exception to that lol
Andy Garcia Sia sounds amazing live. Not perfect.
The ONLY perfect singer is Brendon Urie
She's always being able to sing. Her first album didn't have two slow songs on that I thought showed off her voice so well. Listen to Goodbye and Wonderland. Those two had me always knowing she was a really good singer. I still love them now actually ❤️
Thank you!! I love her song Goodbye.
the harold song deconstructed
Blow deconstructed is what earned my loyalty for her
I am not a particularly big fan of Kesha, but this was a great performance, and she is a fantastic singer.
Omg i love his nailpolish so many different colors, cant stop looking at em😍
Honestly she has a great voice and it was very hard for her to perform this song because of what the story is about .
The nail polish though. 😂😂😂
Is he gay?
R.R he doesn’t need to be gay to wear nail polish
@@sophiebroderick6448 ok thx for this information
I’m living for it
Sophie Broderick no straight dude is gonna wear nail polish
I know a couple people said she didn’t do good during the Grammys but I disagree with them cause the only reason her voice sounded shaky during the performance was cause she was almost crying by how emotional the song is but I know Kesha is really really good
Not almost. She's sobbing at the very end, and everyone surrounds her and holds her up as she's starting to fall apart. The fact that she could get thru the whole thing without stopping when she knew he was in the audience watching her is a level of fortitude most people never have to find.
I remember hating "tik tok "but "praying" is one of my favorites. She really changed.
Jordan Womack She lost it... the judge overturned it...
@@jwomackandcheese73 I don't understand "hating" someone in the first place just because you don't like their music...why would I say I hate Pink Floyd just because I don't like any of their songs?? It wouldn't make sense.
I love your videos because your so positive and not trashing people for the sake of it.refreshing, positive and REAL love it
I got chills she's good. Idk why people would say she's bad.... And exactly nobody is pitch perfect especially live!!!!
Ikr
her high note that she hits in the studio is very hard to hit even if she took a couple tries its hard to sing like that in real life. you have to work at it a lot I think she can sing pretty well. Singing live is much different then in studio not everything's going to sound the same right off the bat she can also take lessons to get her voice to do it live she did change her vocal, but like I said singing live is much harder. People who can't sing or haven't even tried shouldn't judge if they haven't done it.
random person she just needs a little more practice.
random person “a couple tries” dead 😂
Katie Huynh no she is great
Leah Hogan she can sing your mad bc you can't
John miller lol this is one of my pet peeves when people can’t infer something simple that I wrote.
Let me make it more clear and simple for you:
I did not say that she cannot sing.
"That's a great ass intro!" I need this kind of commentary in my life. 😅😅
Kesha’s always had a gorgeous voice, even way back at the start of her career. Unfortunately, Dr Luke overproduced the shit out of her vocals.
Your nails are colorful, Tristan.
CHRISTI XX you are so right
CHRISTI XX and i like it
Does anyone know if he’s bi? Not that nails equal bisexuality lol, just curious.
Love them
Lani Monique// no I think his gf painted them LMAO
sometimes a performance doesn't have to be "flawless" if it invokes enough emotion. And this song does exactly that
She could always sing. I heard older clips of her singing back in the day other songs other than her pop stuff. It was just the pop -scene that they went with as her gig. ..shes written songs for big names since she was 17.
I was very shocked when this song came out it is absolutely one of her best she has went from dumb pop songs to something with emotion and feeling love it
tristan getting smiley over a good voice is really what i wake up for
She's got some nice pipes man!!
Sofiadelsy thank you lmao
Sofiadelsy While I agree with you I have to say that good technique doesn't prevent vocal damage. If you are constantly singing too much (think about Whitney Houston) you will still damage your voice. Good technique slows down that process but isn't going to stop it. But of course that's not an excuse to sing with terrible technique especially because most people will never tour their voices to exhaustion.
I will pretend i didn't see this comment
Why do people think think technique isn't important.. yeah she sings with emotions, but she's simultaneuously ruining her voice. Technique and emotion are not either/or, you can have both. Only stupid or lazy vocalists would choose to not learn how to sing with good technique.
She doesn't suck at all
Suri Martine ya she is bae I love this song
I love kesha
She's good
Suri Martine she's amazing
Video title: Kesha Sucks
Me, a true Kesha fan: um, it’s “keshasuxx” .-.
Michaela Bain 😂
Hey Tristan, new subscriber here! I just wanted to say that I love how encouraging you are in all of your reaction videos, and how willing you are to point out any areas where the singer can improve. You never tear people apart, and even when you give constructive criticism, you're not pretentious about it at all. I love you! Keep doing you!
I've seen Kesha in concert, recently actually (September at the Ryman), and she is one of the most amazing, raw singers I've heard in a while. She's so emotional and incredible.
katelyn johnson I saw her in September too!! At the coca cola roxy
She sang the high note there!!
Thing is.. this song rings the truth.. we don't even know his name.. go girl..
You mean the truth like her lying in court numerous times while under oath? Nobody ever likes to talk about that 🤔
She literally has such a good voice! And considering this was her first time singing such an emotional song (live), AND SHE WAS ON THE VERGE OF CRYING, because of everything that happened to her. She’s slaying everyday ❤️
Jess Fae what happened to her? Where is the proof?
You as a vocal coach I love. Your critique is always straight to the point but kind. I respect that.
The reason the song is so different is also because she, like most artists, was really restricted on what she could sing. Now she has more freedom.
Most people talk about how she dodged the high note, but I’m curious as to why she skipped the low notes in the beginning
it was her first time singing an incredibly emotional song, and low notes are prone to shakiness. Add nerves on top of that and it can go badly, so i think she decided to make it something that'll sound better live given the circumstances :)
Cos her range is tiny. It's like she didn't even warm up. And if she did she should sack the songwriter, writing songs she can't sing.
@@bellemusecore She's the songwriter (well her and Ben Abraham)
She does it to make it a little different for live performance. If she sang it exactly the same as the studio, she wouldn't attract as many people to her shows because who would want to spend $75-250 to see someone sing the same way that they did in the studio. They would be better off just making a playlist of her setlist or just buy the album
She took the song down a half step from the studio recording (the studio version is in A and this is in B-flat). It's possible she just couldn't hit them or didn't feel like she could hit them well enough that day.
All y’all people hating on my queen...BYE BYE SALTY 🙄
Your dimples are sooo cute!!
I Love How He Only Had One Hand Painted .
yourfellowangel that's for guitar chords
Omg this performance gave me CHILLS
ShAwAnOg1Rl the way she breathed at the end of that performance like she was choking back tears 😭
I’m glad she sang it because it was supposed to help against something...I don’t remember...😐whoops😬but I’m glad she sang it😬
The beauty Life it was to the guy who sexually abused/assaulted her she did keep quite she spoke out he try to ruin her career
Wow, I never heard her sing before
Holy crap I can’t believe I never heard this song before it’s SO POWERFUL.
No high note damages your vocal cords. Bad technique does.
yea like it’s a really loud and high not if she did it every time she’d lose her voice and she’s always have a soar throat and yea her vocal cords would be destroyed
Its funny how alot of people who can actually sing hit those notes all the time but when it's this bitch y'all keep making excuses why she won't do it just get over it already She. Can't. Sing.
I like her live version over her recorded version. The studio engineering didn't do her justice.
Agree
Agreed. But even still when I hear it on the radio I tear up at that F6. 👌
dont stop make it pop dj blow the speakers UP
I love her! She most definitely can sing 👏💗🙏
This song and performance still destroys my heart. Kesha is amazing and so incredibly strong- so happy to have seen this video. 🖤
Her vocal tone are very distinctive which I LOVE
Same with me. I was not a Kesha listener before but her last album is a fucking GEM!!! Loved her after listening to this song.
The reason that i really love Kesha is that she is not using playback on her concerts like other artists ...She Real ...She's perfect SHE IS KESHA ❤🌈
I HATE live music but this gave me goosebumps. Fucking love it and have loved this song. She rocked this.
She dodged the high note but she’s to much of a Queen for me to care
I feel like she used to be too heavily influenced by production, now she's decided "fuck it I'm just gonna sing". Sooooo much better than her old stuff.
I think Kesha is one of the best singers she needs to be more honored
Uhhh i dont know about that
Ok. Which vocalists are on your awareness list?
Sawyer Bass kesha
renzo torres kesha is the best
Good? Yes. Best? Hell no.
Kesha's notes are on point, I love the tone in her voice, and her range is legendaryyyy
this song and performance is absolutely breathtaking, everything about it is so beautiful. the emotional, powerful delivery, her raw vocals and beauty, the lyrics, instrumental, her overall stage presence is so moving, all the respect to her
Kesha is so amazing. She has been through SO MUCH!!I love her music and talent. She made a name for herself on her own. She also so beautiful and strong 💪 ❤️🥰😍🤯😊
you should do demi lovato with more modern music such as sorry not sorry / tell me you love me / stone cold / father.
I agree with everything you said. Kesha has proven that she can actually sing. Going back to talking about her past musical offerings, her label probably wanted to make her another Lady Gaga or Katy Perry, both of which heavily used autotune and had overly produced music, but have proven that they can sing raw!
after the rape and stuff she was dealing with shes been much more emotional with her music, in fact this song song writen about him
I'm the biggest fan of ur work.. they say u have to have an obsession with what u do. and u ur really precise and accurate in ur approach.. wish to learn from u some day
i was there when she performed woman for the first time live and omg it was life changing her voice is amazing and she puts her heart and soul into her work and you can hear it
I always thought she was good. The era was ruled by pop stars with heavy effects on vocals, she just did the same
Matt Terrell Her butthole manager controlled who she was before and made her do all that auto tuned Tik Tok crap.
(One note plays)
Audience: *WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT'S THE BEST*
Me: She didn't even start singing...
She dodged the high note...that being said, she won me over with this performance. Very talented girl. Great song writer, too.
She has such a beautiful voice and I personally think the emotion adds to her performance so either give me shaky or give me nothing
Some that can give you chills for 4 mins straight, no one can knock that. She’s out of this worrrrld 👏🏼
I like the direction she's going in.
well I really dont know why people say that she cant sing in her past times of tik tok and die young, well that was pop music, a lots of artists nowadays sing like that and no one is blaming them, so why kesha??? is my question....cause she CAN sing
i can't even get over finding her singing this song live
Wow. I could really feel her pain with this song. I was really surprised she didn’t start crying because it’s so filled with emotion ❤️🌸❤️🌸
