I just watched this again. The song, and Kesha's performance, is so many emotions. Sadness, anger, revenge, resentment. But then towards the end you realize it's also about forgiveness, dignity, strength, healing and oh goodness, Kesha if you're reading this, I love you. I truly love you. You have a powerful testimony honey.

@@cookiealexd123 "The track originated from Ryan Lewis, who contacted Kesha and offered her an early version of the song." which i think means the instrumentals and the sound were created by ryan lewis, but the lyrics were written by kesha and cleaned up by a few other writers. kesha has stated that she wrote the song as a way to air out her frustrations and anger with dr luke and the SA court case

I cannot even function right now. Kesha and this song has been a steady source of strength for me for a long time now, but I am absolutely wrecked to see these absolute icons singing backup with her because they fully know down in their souls what this song is about. Thank you Kesha and everyone who made this performance possible, you've saved a life tonight and I pray for everyone of you.

Wow! That hug at the end! The raw emotion throughout the song! The power needed to perform this in a room of industry people! Anyone nitpicking notes are missing the point by a mile! Wow!

I left my narcisstic soon to be ex husband 3 years ago. This has been my go to song and video every time I've missed him or felt weak. Leaving him is the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life. So much power in Kesha's words and her performance here.
